The Korpi is an understable distance driver renowned for its exceptional glide. When thrown with force, it demonstrates a notable high-speed turn followed by a lengthy, forward-pushing fade. At lower speeds, the disc behaves more like a stable disc, making the Korpi an easily manageable high-speed driver. It is versatile, suitable for both backhand and forehand throws. The name "Korpi" in Finnish signifies a type of natural landscape or wilderness area, often a remote, wild, and largely unspoiled forest region, characterized by its rugged beauty, dense forests, numerous lakes, and pristine natural ecosystems, far from human development.

I like the feel of this plastic grade; hopefully it proves durable. The bright orange makes it very easy to spot. Based on the listed flight numbers, I was really looking forward to trying this disc out: A couple of my best drivers over the past four years have been the Wave and Mystere -- both with the same -2/2 Turn/Fade scores as the Korpi. With a slightly faster speed and a higher glide (than the Wave, at least), I was hopeful that this would be an excellent disc for distance for me. Maybe in time it will beat in a bit more to match those numbers, but initially I find that it is more overstable, and consistently left me with shorter distance than the discs that I compared it with. The flight was not quite as stable as my C-Glow Emperor, but more than my seasoned GStar Destroyer, or Plague. Another disc I was testing it with was a new XCom Draco (12/5/-1/2) and I found the Korpi to be more stable and have less glide than the Draco (although in fairness, with the distance I was achieving with it, the Draco might just merit a glide higher than a 5). I think the higher stability and speed of this disc will make it too much for backhand beginners to get much benefit from it in most instances; forehand throwers might do alright with it at earlier stages of their experience.

Plasitc feels great! Reminds me a bit of K1, but thinner feel to it. Numbers were way off when I began throwing it, much more overstable, similar to a Guld but after a few rounds of playing, the -2 turn began to show more and more but still retains the intial level of stability. Great feel throwing FH and BH and BOMBS! Love this disc and love to support the smaller manufacturers. Would highly recommend and you can't beat the cost.

For the price I don't think you can beat it honestly. It flies pretty much exactly as advertised and plastic feel is great. Thrown flat you can get a long pushing turn with reliable fade at the end.

It is a little touchy in wind, I go for Captain's Thrasher or Wild Honey if there is any wind.

This is a great driver in some very good plastic for the price. It however is not true to it's number. It flies very similarly to my stable Salt or champ Destroyer which is a very useful disc but isn't going to be something that will help you get easy distance like some other understable distance drivers can do.

I think it's a great entry for Exel into the distance driver category and is yet another way to throw a destroyer without throwing a destroyer. I'll be curious to see how it beats in if that will allow it to show it's assigned flight numbers more accurately.
