    Gamechanger OS Putter

This putter changed my game, sounds cheesy, but it's true. I used to putt with JK Aviar-X's and they were solid. I prefer a softer putter for grip reasons and I personally believe they grab chains better. Also, I throw them off the tee and I like to "stick" the landing, and softer, base plastics grab the ground. I like a bead on my putters and when I held my first Penrose, I was stoked on the feel of the smaller bead over the big bead on the JK. The stability is perfect for my putting style which is primarily a spin putt, with very little up-and-down movement in the flight.

I was able to order a 10-pack and get them all the same color, weight and foil color. That helps me not have any weird mental blocks when I reach in the bag or when practice putting with the whole stack. EV-7 makes a very consistent product and their plastics hold up really well for base. They also offer quite a few options for each mold making it a great choice. I mean, they are a putter-only company... so they focus on the discs that save you the most strokes. I recently got a few Gatekeeper Media stamped OG Firm Pennies and am going to see if I like it off the tee more than the OG Soft.

Because of the overstability, I can trust these in the wind and not worry about a slight accidental turnover putt. I am a straddle putter inside of 40' then I switch to a staggered and/or step putt depending on the green placement (hill vs flat vs obstructed).

Putters are mainly about feel and confidence, but you also need to buy the right plastic and know if the stability is good for your putting style. Because once you get outside of 30' or so, you start to see the disc fly a little more. Inside 30', as most people know, you can almost putt with anything and it'll fly real similar.

If you've considered switching up your putter and are looking for a good overstable option that isn't dumpy, try a Penrose in your preferred plastic type and I think you will be more than happy.

Started putting with Aviars (like most of us do) then moved up to a P2 and a PModel US. Then I had the opportunity to hold the Penrose from EV7 and I was impressed. It felt great and seemed to just fit in my hand better than the other putters. I ordered 5, one of each plastic type a year ago to give them a try. One of the Pros of the Penrose is all 5 plastics feel the same they just have different stiff nesses. After about a month I decided to put with the Soft and use the Firm as my upshot and backup putter. Since then I have seen a steady upturn in my putting stats. Living in SE Texas the Penrose has enough stability to make usable in the wind but still a point and shoot putter from inside the circle.

I have the bought the OG Soft because I prefer the more soft and grippy type of putters. When I took this out in the field to practice upshots, it was performed better than any other putters from different brands in my bag. Even as beginner, I can trust throwing this disc within 200 ft.

got this disc in a mystery box, couldn't be happier. I use this for almost all my approach shots within 100', will eventually use it further out  im sure but I've only had it 1 month in the winter so more field practice is needed. I use the Emac Judge classic for straight putting but I turn to the Penrose to get around trees for a confident overstable finish. Throw this thing on a slight anhyzer and she will turn right around that bush or tree and fade right back into or under the basket. Very good approach disc and the OG soft plastic feels great!

Great putter for all skill levels. My son and received in a players pack for 2 tournaments that we played in. This became my go to putter. I have 3 in the OG soft that I practice with at my home practice basket and OG medium and firm that I use off the tee for distance at 200 or less. Very easy to control - straight shots, hyzer and and anhyzer.

I really wanted the Penrose to be my go to putter. So far it hasn't hit that spot. It reminds me a lot of my Latitude 64 Pure in terms of depth. The Soft feels soft...but almost not soft enough, if that makes sense. With all that said, the fade is very very very reliable.

Good disc but nothing special. I thought the soft would be softer but it's in line with k3. Lots of control and could be thrown into a headwind if needed. The rim is comfortable almost has enough lip to rest your finger for a fan grip.
