This is my go to putter right now. I started playing disc golf putting with pa1s and p2's, but ever since switching to the penrose I have not looked back. I liked the depths of the other putters, but I found that  since switching to the penrose, I have a more comfortable putt because of the bead on the disc. It's not a huge bead, which I have not liked in the past, but it's enough to give my finger a good place to sit without slipping since I grip my putter with my finger resting on the lower slope of the side. I putt with this disc in the og firm plastic and I love the feel whenever they get a little beat in and get some dirt on them. I also bag a penrose in og base plastic that I throw. At this stage, it's still a reliable hyzer but with some torque I can get it to go dead straight. It's not flippy yet, but I feel that it will be soon. I recommend trying this if you feel the p2 is either a bit too deep or is a little slippery coming out of your hand while putting because this disc has saved me many strokes now.

Solid headwind putter - beaded and low profile similar to a Wizard, PA-3, and Judge. If you are looking for consistency out of the hand inside the circle, this is the putter for you.

Been putting with these since they released and love them. It took me a week or so of practice with them to get dialed in, because they are more OS than the putters I usually use (alpacas/lunas) but after that, I've been hitting putts like never before. They are very consistent, and do what you tell them.

EV-7 might be a new disc golf manufacturer, but they have quality putter plastics down. This just might be the best putter plastic blend I've ever tried.

I like really grippy putters. Initially I thought that I would like the soft bend the best, but after trying both an OG Soft and OG Medium, I prefer the stiffness of the medium. While being stiffer at the flight plate, it still offers excellent tackiness and grip. This allows for consistent accurate releases for both push putts and spin putts.

While OG Soft isn't a floppy or incredibly soft blend, I find that I accidentally push the disc to the right while putting far more than I do the stiffer medium.

As for the feel of the disc, it's good. It has a nice flat top. Currently I use the Infinite Discs Myth as my primary putter and this has a similar type feel as that, the main difference being the feel of the bead. The EV-7 Penrose has more of a micro bead, making it smaller and less comfortable than a larger bead on a putter.

While the feel isn't quite as comfortable as other putters, I think it might actually make my putting more accurate. This disc also has a little bit more glide than does the Myth which is excellent for those longer putts that you want to carry all the way in the basket without having to try and throw harder.

With my initial success in just making putts all over the green, I'm going to keep the OG Medium Blen Penrose in my bag for now. Solid putter and I'm excited to see what else EV-7 will come up with.

Throwing OG Firm plastic at 4,400 ft in Utah. To me, 5 stars = incredible disc 4 stars = good & dependable disc. I don't give out too many 5 star ratings.

EV-7 did well with their initial release of this putter. The plastic has a good feel to it as well.

The in hand feel is comforatable. For my grip, the disc fills my hand in nicely. My hand doesn't feel cramped holding it, nor does it feel like I am barley holding onto the disc. This does have a very pronounced bead on it. To me it is a little uncomfortable, but it isn't terrible. The plastic has some good grip to it. I have found that as it gets dirty, the plastic gets a little slick.

Throwing this disc, I found that it doesn't have as much fade as indicated. I always found myself waiting for the fade, and hardly ever saw it. This was more of a straight flyer for me than a disc that has a hook on the end of it. Which is a valuable disc to have, and I think the best way to start off. As this disc can be the go-to putter for putting or for thrwing.

Overall a pretty solid begining for EV-7. Its not my favorite putter, but it is a great one that I feel comfortable recomending to anyone.
