The numbers imply a faster Maverick but this one’s flight path is not the same. More reliable flip to flat for that straight shot with fade at the end. Flat release has a bit more turn but does fade back for a straighter finish. Much more glide when powered up

The vandal has been my go-to fairway driver in recent rounds. When I was learning, my lucid vandal would give me that gorgeous S-flight very reliably. As I have gotten more power, I have discovered the vandal is extremely versatile. If I put a little hyzer on my vandal and really power it up, I can get it to hyzer-flip and ride out to almost 350' (further than some of my distance drivers). If I throw it flat, I get a nice gradual turnover line that mirrors a distance forehand flight. The only down side is that it will flip in any sort of headwind, but that can be expected for most under-stable discs on the market.

First off, the Lucid plastic feels just incredible. This disc and the Maverick are what turned me on to Dynamic Discs. The Vandal flies like a slightly straighter Sidewinder (which used to be my favorite disc). I have decent but not impressive arm speed and this disc is just perfect for me, and I can make it do exactly what it is supposed to do. Looking for a pretty decent distance, with a nice consistent turn and gentle fade? Get this disc.
