The Dynamic Discs Thief is fairway driver that was included as part of the 2014 Trilogy Challenge players pack. The Thief is friendly for disc golfers of all skill levels, and slightly more stable than the DD Witness. DD describes the Thief like this, "...a versatile fairway driver that will benefit players of all skill levels.

With the stable flight path and glide, the Thief will be a fairway workhorse for every bag. For slower arms, the Thief will be an overstable complement to the Witness. For big arms, the Thief will be a straight flyer with slight hyzer release.”

Not true to numbers for the one I had from the event that year. Not a bad thing for sure but not what many expect or expected is what I saw. It was more along the lines of a 3 turn with small ending fade. Plastic I had a Biofuzion version and was nice. Maybe could be a little firmer but I was OK with throwing it.

Just knock down a point for inaccurate ratings.

Picked up a Bio Thief for a Thief throwing friend and gave it a few test rounds while they had it out of the bag. It's a good feeling disc, and for someone who throws fairways in the 280-330 range would be prefect, but for someone like myself who uses them 330-380 it doesn't like a full power rip. When i threw it flat with no wind right around 60% effort, it flew super straight with a slight turn and mild fade around 310-320 and that seems to be what it is best at, when I gave it a full pull that would be 375 with a Stag it turned a lot and didn't come back much.

Overall, its a great feeling disc and I like the Bio plastic, very grippy, nice stamp and could be great for newer or lower powered players, but it's not the best for a go to fairway for a more experiance or high powered player.

The BioFuzion plastic feels great. It isn't very durable, but the stiff grippy feel is hard to beat, and it seems to glide well.

The Thief... well, I wanted to like it. Out of the box, though, it was a turnover disc, in spite of the numbers, and once it beat in even a bit (which didn't take long in the BioFuzion plastic) it was ill-inclined to come back at all. It lacked the finesse of a midrange for turnovers in the woods, and the distance wasn't longer by enough for me to justify throwing it often at all.

Overall, would not recommend the Thief, unless you have a slower arm. For a stable fairway driver closer to what the Thief claims to offer, try an Escape (somewhat wider rim, but stable with great glide), a Teebirb, or even a Stag (which still doesn't have great HSS, but will come back, and has a comfortably small rim).

This disc is awesome! The grip on this disc is fabulous. the rim is small, typical for an 8 speed.

The stability of this disc is understable. As such it is pretty easy to throw. The Thief can be a good distance driver, and it can take on fairly easily any anhyzer line. Hardly ever do I throw the Thief on an anhyzer line with it coming out of the line.

Throwing for distance the Thief holds my record for the farthest drive. I can get good distance by throwing the disc flat and letting it take on its normal flight path. If I throw the Thief with a hyzer flip I can get optimal distance; I have thrown it past the 350 foot mark, by throwing it this way.

When it comes to throwing into a head wind the Thief is not the ideal disc to throw. It will be as if you threw it with the intention of it going to the right (RHBH). If throwing it with a tail wind, this disc is awesome. That is when it is really easy to get some good distance. This disc with the tail wind will float easily. Throwing this disc in the ccross winds it is very unpredictable with how it will act. I haven't been able to figure out the pattern for it.

Overall the Thief is an amazing disc. With it you can easily shape the flight path for distance or for a right fading distance throw (RHBH). The stability of this disc is fairly predictable, and fairly consistent. Every now and then I'll release wrong and it will stick on an anhyzer throw that I did not intend. For the most part it is dependable and predictible, it is a great disc; and I love it!

The Thief is an awesome disc. i didn't start throwing one til recently but once i did it got an immediate spot in my bag. the Thief is a very straight flying disc and can be manipulated to hyzer or anhyzer very easily.

Thief is a very easy to control driver and can make one's ganme significantly better.

This is an amazing disc. I was reading early reviews and if you turn this thing over that bad, then you must be trying to. I turn over my  Sorceror more than I turn this thing over throwing with the same amount of power. I can throw this disc 350-400 feet easy. Just put a tad bit of hyzer on this disc and watch it fly a beautiful soft S line. Highly recommend you buy one of these. Mine is a TC Bio plastic, 173.

Like many, I tried out this disc during the Trilogy Challenge.  I didn't really care for it too much to be honest.  As the day went on, I threw my Claymore as much as I could even for the driver shots because I could trust it a lot more and the distance difference wasn't terribly significant.

I tried it out a few more times after the challenge and tried to give it a chance, but it was just too understable, too easy to roll over, and the BioFuzion plastic made it very slick and difficult to get a clean rip on.  In fact it ended up rolling over on me and going straight into a lake.

I'm sure it's a decent disc for beginners or people with a lot of touch, but this isn't the disc for me.

Great controllable driver. If you are a beginner, this disc will teach you how the speed/power and disc release angle work. Nice job done DD!

I have two of the BioFuzion discs from the Triology Challenge. Its a great control/fairway driver that has become a staple in my bag. the Biofuzion seems a bit flippier than the fuzion plastic, but both have similar flight paths. Great disc!

Was introduced to this at the Trilogy Challange; Hasn't left my bag since. OMG this thing fly's. If you like the Escape you'll love the Theif same control but longer distance.

Good disc sofar, it's taking its time breaking in, it just might earn a spot in the bag.

This disc holds any line that I put it on, both fore- and backhand, even when that line is a mistake. Put a little anhyzer on it and it will rarely come back. Keep it flat and it will go straight with very little fade.
