As many reviewers have said before, I would say the flight numbers are a bit off all the way around. The rim feels similar to a destroyer but flies a lot more neutral to understable for me. Those that compared it to a beat in Destroyer are onto something but the flight feels maybe more like a beat in Wraith when it's fresh out the box. If that's a flight you're looking for, the Raider is great. I like this disc and use it a lot for field work. There's nothing wrong with it, I just came upon it after I already had that spot filled in my bag so it wasn't unique enough to kick anything out. Overall it's worth trying.

Just bought 3 different raiders the other day and they came in today. Went out and did some field work with the fusion Raider and it flew fantastic. I throw seargents and the Raider to me is just a faster seargent.

I got the raider brand new from one of my friends who is much better than me and said they had a disc that held that spot already. I will say right not the raider flies like a new wraith. Numbers say it is way more overstable than it flies for me and I would probably give it 12/5/-1.5/2. As someone who only throws 350 RHFH and around 300 RHBH, I can flip it up when I throw it both ways. It has a great feel and is very comfortable in the hand. Overall it is a good disc but don't be fooled by the -0.5 turn.

A lower profile destroyer/wraith.  Very true to its flight numbers, if they were 12/4/-1.5/2.  Doesnt get as much glide as the wraith or destroyer, doesnt take the flex as well either.

This disc shines on the flick however.  Low profile and some stability means it feels great out of the hand (fingers).  Not my favorite mold but definately still a good one.  I prefer the Emperor for that role.  You should try one, like seriously ;)

I love this disc! It is really great! I prefer this over destroyers generally. It has consistent fade, but I have found that this tends to have more turn for me than most discs that fill this similar slot. Not a bad thing, but it means that it is flippier for me than emperors or most destroyers (of which I have had all stabilities). The raider gets the most distance and has plenty of glide of the usual overstable 12 speed discs. Hard to beat! I lean on my emperors for straighter shots and the raider gets the nod when I need the consistent fade with more turn and more distance. It is awesome!

For me the Raider is the disc I've been looking for for a long time. I've spent a long time searching for a go to distance driver: the driver that I'll have three or four of for different shots, and with this I've finally found it. Previously I thought I had found my new driver in the grym x, but ultimately that was just a little too understable for what I wanted. The Raider, however, is perfect. I currently bag two lucids and a fuzion. Out of the box the lucids will be reliably overstable, but I can get just a little bit of turn out of them. The fuzion will be a little bit less overstable out of the box and beats into a massive distance disc.

The Raider does exactly what I want out of a max distance driver. It flies the way destroyers fly for top pros. I can throw it flat and hard and it'll turn for the first 10-20% of its flight, then it will come back and fly straight then it'll fade. On hyzer the lucid will just hold the angle the whole time, and the fuzion will pop up a little. It is incredibly reliable distance. That to me is the best part about it. I can throw it very far, but it's overstable enough that I always know where it will land. I never have to worry about the Raider never coming out of a turn or flipping all the way over unless there's a head wind.

Lastly, the raider is the furthest flying forehand disc I have ever thrown. It's understable enough that I can get it to flip up and turn on a hyzer release, but I never worry about it rolling over. It truly is a perfect level of stability for my arm speed and game.

Overall, I would highly recommend the raider to anyone who needs a stable distance driver, but I would especially recommend it to intermediate to advanced level players who are starting to be able to put a good move on a disc and push their drives out to 380-400ish. It's a little less overstable than a destroyer so you'll be able to get a really nice full flight out of it.

I bag 3 Raiders in different wear stages and am always baffled at how they consistently add about 10-20ft over my other drivers. I have a 375-400ft arm, so a new Lucid Raider is overstable, but workable. A lightly seasoned Raider goes dead straight forever and then dumps hard left with a small flare. My really seasoned Raider will hold turn for a long time, and I actually use it for fan-grip lower power shots that push far forward before that OS finish hits. Very durable and in my experience very consistent mold. They all fly like a Raider. Raider is a touch shallower than a Nuke, and a touch wider rim than a destroyer.

What I do like about this disc is it's reliable flight and great glide. I was less happy about the larger 13 speed rim which is why I don't bag it. But if you can grab this bad boy with that big rim go for it the flight is excellent!

I would say the raider has a great feel in the hand for sure, love the fusion plastic. But I will say in a head wind you will get a bit more turn than you might expect, but it will still come back for me.

I do not tend to think I have the best disc golf arm, but this disc definitely added something to my game I didn't know I was missing. I was usually getting my Trespasses out to around 380 or to but I can throw the Raider 20-30 feet further with ease. I was surprised by how much turn I got out of it, and watching it fly made me want to buy another one on the spot. This is definitely going to be a staple in my bag.

This disc to me flew and felt like a destroyer, but somehow better. I ended up giving all my destroyers to my friend, because I just like feel and plastics of the Raider more. It seems to have a touch more glide, but the same flip and consistent finish. If you have the arm speed for distance drivers this will be one of your farther flying disc.

I really wanted to like the Raider, and there's nothing wrong with it... but it just overlaps with the Defender too much. I have thrown a few 168-170 Raiders that were significantly more understable than others, but they flew just like a Captain.

I bought this disc purely because it was the only Fuzion plastic disc that I could find at a local store, and I was a little disappointed at first. I started playing a bout 4 months ago, and when I purchased this disc, it was quite literally impossible for me to get this disc to go anywhere but hard left (RHBH). In the past few days, however, I have gotten to the point where I can throw this disc hard and flat and get it out to around 350'. I think as I continue to improve, this disc will be really useful.

This disc is as advertised as the DD destroyer. It has a slight difference in feel but not a ton and the flight starts out similar to a destroyer. The Raider in Fuzion plastic feels super nice and it flies really far if you have the armspeed for it. You need to be throwing really far to get the full use out of this disc. If you arent throwing really far this disc will be extremely overstable. This disc up to speed would just fly forever and glide for days. It will be one of the furthest flying discs you will throw if you have the arm for it but if you do not this thing wants to go left. I find that I can't throw this as well as a destroyer which makes a little sense since this is a 13 speed. But for big arm throwers they may really like the Raider. For a newer player like me who does not throw over 400 feet I would not use this disc to its potential and I do not see a point of bagging one. I love the feeling of widerim drivers and this felt like such a nice disc in the hands but I just did not like the flight I was getting out of it. I may end up trying this disc in the future if I end up increasing my armspeed and start throwing farther because it could be a huge asset. Be wary if you want to buy this disc that you can get it up to speed and really utilize this disc before you get it.

I received my Raider in Fuzion Burst as part of the Match Play bracket I am hosting. I threw it yesterday for the first time in an open field and was shocked at how far this thing was going. It's a pretty stable disc, so I started throwing it on an anhyzer and was getting a nice long flight out of it! Ended up getting one throw at 407'.

It's more domey than I'd like. I like the feel of my Star Shryke more, because it's a thinner profile than this Raider, but the Shryke is less reliable with wind. This thing will fight back every time!

If you're new to the game or are still throwing nose up or just simply don't have the arm speed, then this disc is not for you. But if you are looking for a stable disc with plenty of glide, then this is a good choice!

Looking forward to using this out on the course especially when I need distance combined with accuracy.

The Raider is an extremely reliable, super consistent, over stable distance driver. After throwing it for about 6 months, I can easily say that this disc has become one of my all-time favorites and my go to driver on many holes in my local area.  For slower speed throwers, this disc will provide a reliable, pushing hyzer flight with a sharp left finish. For faster speed throwers, this disc is great for flipping to flat and letting it just float for mega, mega distance. Its a disc that every player should have in their bag, and a disc every player can utilize on the course.

I currently have two in my bag, one Fuzion and one Lucid. I am so happy I got these, they are now without a doubt the go to beefy overstable distance drivers in my bag and perfect for my forehand. The Raider eats up any power you can throw at it laughing and yelling for more as it screams through the air. This disc LAUNCHES out of my hand on a forehand rip and I love watching its flight. The Raider I have in Lucid plastic is all overstable and definitely no turn compared to the fuzion one. Based on these two I have I feel the Raider is a big power driver with tons of glide and reliable fade no matter the release angle or arm strength; did I mention this also cuts through the wind faster than anything else I have ever thrown. Get one!!!

The Raider is a fantastic new driver, and IMO is the best distance driver Dynamic makes. This disc is very throw-able while being long and dependable. One other great aspect of this disc is it seems to be a consistent mold. I've thrown 4 Raiders, all Fuzion plastic. All 4 discs fly the same. No weirdo oddball inconsistencies. This is the first Trilogy driver I've thrown multiples of that didn't have serious consistency problems.

Flight-wise I'd put the Raider right between a Sheriff and a Defender, or a somewhat broken in star Destroyer. It has a little high speed turn, which it holds well before fading. The Raider will keep the flat portion of its flight longer than other similar drivers. It isn't in any big hurry to fade. A lot of the Raider's distance seems to happen late in flight. The fade is gradual and prolonged. Its less dumpy than other similar drivers.

I like the Raider from a distance standpoint too. It isn't quite the longest or fastest driver I've ever thrown, but it has a super consistent flight. You know what the Raider will do when you throw it. I was able to get it over 400' fairly easily. The Raider will flex out nicely if thrown flat and hard. To see that flex you're going to need at least 350' power though. The Raider can alsp be forced over on a high anny line and hold it well. Just beautiful swooping S curves.

Glide is above average. I find that the Raider can almost seem floaty when you really nail it well. Again, you're going to need to throw the disc pretty hard to see this glide.

Overall I'd consider the Raider to be a great driver. It has a fairly neutral flight, and can easily be a workhorse distance driver in anyone's bag. It has some high speed turn, but isn't flippy. I won't recommend the Raider to new players, but it isn't impossibly hard to throw. Anyone with 350'+ power will likely be able to handle this disc. The Raider feels good in the hand and is fun to throw. It is without question the most consistent and best performing distance driver Dynamic makes. It takes the best attributes of the Sheriff and Defender and combines them. Highly recommended. This coming from a guy who's leery of Trilogy's high speed driver lineup.

    The Raider bombs!

This disc is a fantastic compliment to the Defender.  Similar in feel but with a less overstable flight.

Rip into one of these and it will popup turn for a bit then finish with a reliable fade.  I feel that is flies similar to the First Run Zues that is a little broken in but with quite a bit more glide.

One thing I've noticed with the Raider is when it starts its turn it gets a bit of a lift in its flight.  Everytime I throw my Raider I gain about 10ft of height while the disc is rolling into its turn.  This may not be unique to the Raider but its the first disc I've noticed this happening.

For slower arms the Raider will be a somewhat overstable but straight flying distance driver.

This has to be the best distance driver in the current DD lineup.  I like the rim fill and the dome on the disc.  For me it is a consistent overstable backhand driver that can fight any head wind and finish reliably left.  I like it best for forehands, because that is my dominant and more advanced shot.  I can throw it flat and hard, get some good turn out if it and trust it to finish back right.  I also like it on anhyzer releases that have long flexes that finish back.  It is an outstanding disc that is definitely worth a try.

I have only played two rounds with this disc so far, but already think that it will become one of my favorite drivers. I have been throwing a Star Destroyer (McBeth) as my overstable driver, but the one I have flies much more like my Frontline Sabot than a Destroyer. Even after two years of use it is very overstable. This disc, however, is amazing out of the box. On a backhand throw I get a tiny amount of turn and then a respectable amount of fade. It is stable enough that I feel confident throwing it into a headwind from an elevated tee and have no worries about it turning over. I don't throw many forehands, but I can get a clean release with this disc when I do. I think as the Raider beats in (not even a lot) it is going to really shine.

This is a great disc.  There was a lot of hype surrounding this disc so I gave it a try and I'm very glad I did.  I throw about 50/50 FH and BH and this disc can work well for both.  In comparison, it flies like a more stable Ballista Pro, or a more forgiving Warhorse.

Overall the feel is very nice.  There have been a few throws with a FH that come out wobbly from it catching on my fingers, but this was mostly when I was really trying to mash on it.  When I gave it my all on a FH, it would turn a bit, but not a big amount before coming out and fading to the right.  Out of all the over stable discs I FH, this flew the farthest by about 20-30 feet consistently.

With a BH, this disc was not as much of a meat hook as I expected.  If I really forced it over, it would hold for awhile before coming out with a good fade.  My max distance BH, which is weaker for me, was right around 350-360.

Bottom line is if I have to pick only one mold to throw, this would be right up there for choices I would make.  I've already ordered a lucid one now to try out in comparison.

Was surprised at the stability of this disc. Dynamic has got a D1 now if you ask me. I was able to put a good rip on it forehand and it didn't even think about turning over. I think this will make my bag. This is what the defender was supposed to be with more forward push and glide. The fusion plastic had a dome to it which is nice.

This thing is an absolute bomber!  The Raider is the closest thing I currently own to my old PFN Destroyers.  If you're out there thinking that the newer destroyers (Kongs, DD3s, etc.) are too stable out of the box then I would definitely recommend trying a Raider for max distance.

The Raider quickly became my favorite distance driver in the bag. This disc absolutely mashes, and it isn't even close. I can put a little anhyzer on the disc and expect it to fight out of that and end up very far down the fairway.

I never found a great love with the Destroyer, but this disc is exactly what I had always wanted that to be. It has a great feel in the hand that has a very reliable shape and it goes far. I am excited for this disc to release in more plastic types, it will be my main distance driver as they break in.

I have a First Run Raider (176g) and it's super flippy. I throw it with hyser and it flips to roller on 250-300. Only way to get it turn and fade back is super high shot with lots of hyser release. I have ordered 2 fuzion plastics also and i hope, that they are more stable, because it feels super great in the hand, but if they are so unstable, then it's very hard to use them even in a slightly windy day.

This disc goes very far.  In fuzion plastic, Imagine the perfect blend of turn, glide, and fade.  It's got a slight turn to it when thrown at about 425 feet of power with slight hyzer.  It flips of to slightly turn over.  Then it just glides forever.  The raider finishes strong with a 3 fade, but it doesn't dive into the ground.  It honestly feels better in my hand than a destroyer.  It's different, and I like it.  5 Stars.

    I love this disc

I have thrown the special edition and the fuzion raiders and let me tell you if you have an arm this disc will be your best friend. The fuzion one is definitely more overstable and takes quite a bit more to get the turn out of it, I would say a fuzion raider out of the box is similar to a decently beat 4-time destroyer. However, the special edition ones are more flippy and are the perfect amount of glide, turn, and fade you are expecting. If you can get your hands on one of these discs do it now.

I've only thrown the "Special Edition" (which feels like Fuzion plastic) Raider that was released a few weeks ago... but WOW. Seems to have a perfect amount of glide and not too much overstability out of the hand. They'll hold a bit of turn before fading, or if your arm speed is faster (for me it's the forehand throw) they'll pop up and provide a little turn for you. I think this disc will fit nicely into anyone's bag that is looking for something slightly faster and not quite as overstable as the Enforcer, but hasn't liked the feel of the Defender. I think the best comp is that they're pretty close to the Balista Pro, but not quite as fast. Great disc, will probably go right into the bag for the powered up forehand shots that I need some glide on out to about 400' or so.
