The Felon is a very overstable fairway driver in the DD line. This is what Dynamic Discs has to say about the Felon.

"Dynamic Discs is bringing the disc that so many of you have been asking and hoping for. The Felon is here. In the same vein as our game changing Escape, the Felon is a fairway driver that feels great in your hand and comes out easy. Crafted in response to the unforgiving Kansas winds, the Felon is the wind-fighting fairway driver that your bag is calling for. It will continue to sail, without turning over, despite that headwind. When the wind is down, it has an incredibly predictable hyzer finish. When you are facing a low ceiling shot where you need good glide and a strong finish the Felon is your answer."

You get exactly what you expect with the felon! Definitely not your max distance disc, but by far the most consistent. The fuzion mold definitely gets a little more ride and is slightly less stable than the lucid, but you can't go wrong either way. I lost a firebird and replaced it with this and haven't looked back!

The Fuzion/Lucid plastics have a smooth release, though don't seem to have as good grippiness as others. I got my Felon slightly used, but it appeared to be in very good shape still (good quality plastic), and if it had started to get beat in at all, I couldn't tell: This is easily among the top 3-4 most overstable discs I have ever thrown. I typically use other discs more often for drives and other shots, but this became a very useful disc when throwing into the wind (giving me just a longer version of the same consistent flight path), or needing reliable hard turns/skips. Performs just as it's supposed to: Never a question about how it was going to travel, which is a nice option to have available in the bag.

I would not necessarily give this to a beginner except for maybe learning utility shots. However, it is an excellent and reliable disc! I love getting a sexton firebird without paying sexton firebird prices haha. This is a great disc I highly recommend. Not as overstable as your standard firebird but still a great and reliable low glide wind fighter for approaching the basket and working the fairway.

I've tried a bunch of different overstable fairway drivers. I've had an mvp motion, a firebird, and I even tried a banshee before finally getting a felon. I'll be the first one to tell anyone this is absolutely the best of the bunch. First of all it is super comfortable. It's got a perfectly flat top and is super low profile. This makes it perfect for a forehand grip, but it also feels great for my backhand as well.

Amazing feel aside the flight of the felon is unlike anything I've thrown before. Every other overstable fairway I've tried tends to want to fade out hard as soon as it comes out of my hand no matter the angle I throw it on. That's useful in some very specific situations but overall it's not a shot that I need very often. The felon, however, will fly dead straight for 60-70% of its flight and THEN it will fade hard when thrown flat. To me that makes it so much more useable as a disc in so many more situations than any firebird or motion that I've thrown. On hyzer it will still dump super hard like some of the others but it still feels like it wants to push farther before it hits the ground.

On forehand this thing absolutely shines. It can match the same straight to hard fade that it can on a backhand but what I love is the flex shot potential. I play a lot of heavily wooded golf so a forehand flex is an essential part of the game to get through some of the lines required as a lefty. The felon can get me some amazing long turnover shots that just miss everything before reliably coming back towards the basket.

Overall I would highly recommend the felon to anyone who's looking for a great disc in that overstable fairway slot but wants to have something that isn't going to want to dump immediately

Throwing in fusion RHBH. Love this disc for throwing straight with a strong fade. A local course I frequent has a hole with lots of wind and water on the right, and I always go for this disc.

Not for newer players due to the over stability. I would recommend something with more neutral flight numbers in order to not pick up bad habits.

The Dynamic Disc Felon is an over-stable fairway to hybrid driver option for both backhand and forehand shots. The large diameter and blunt nose give the disc a reliable finish without taking any glide away.

Lucid Felons have a flat top and stiff grip. They are used primarily for spike hyzers and medium distanced approach shots at the green. Forehand shots come easy with the Lucid plastic, pulling the disc away from a nose down crash and lifting it up to a reliable finish.

Fuzion plastic gives the disc some character over time and provides a grippy option for high fade shots. Playing the 45 degree angle of approach has never been easier.

I used a Fuzion Felon strictly for forehands due to the fact that my forehand shot was not very good at the time and I needed some help.

The Felon is a great disc for a variety of shots. Its a great FH roller disc, FH disc for shots 275+, hyzer disc for those shots that need to finish right (RHBH) and bailout shots. The Felon is a Fairway disc with a great deal of fade so it holds up excellently into headwinds. It is also good for skips shots. The Felon will come in handy several times during your round for situations that require a variety of ways to attach the hole. If you want a wind fighting, FH rolling, hyzering bailout disc that will hold its stability for a long time then pick up a Lucid Felon.

Worst possible disc for a beginner. worst possible disc for a slow/weak throw arm. Great disc for control and reliability. The positive turn is real and means its a laser in a headwind. It also will allow a crazy anhyzer flips around obstacles for really unique 150-200ft shots. Definitely a utility disc through and through.

Aside from the cheaper plastic, the Fuzion Felon beats in the quickest and can become a flippy disc, even for the Felon, but will always maintain the true to form overstable finish.

Trusty.  This disc is reliable.  It is my go-to for meaty shots that need the fade on a dog-leg par 3.  Call it what you want, this disc varies from an overstable flippy bio-fuzion, perfect for an anheizer flex, to a heavy fade-meat hook Lucid-x that acts like an Anvil on steriods.  Also has a somewhat flat rim that can produce an "Oakley-like" roller effect.  Bag it. Now. 9 Iron Hook-shot/ Headwind Go-to.

Easily the most consistent driver I've ever thrown. It always does the same thing no matter what and doesn't beat in too fast. Use for straight shots with a good fade at the end.

Probably my favorite disc. I have one is fuzion and one in lucid and it's the only driver I have a duplicate of in my bag. The Felon is flatter and more comfortable to grip than a firebird and I feel like it gets a tad more glide compared side by side with my 2019 sexybird. This disc was easy to learn and I started shaping awesome flex shots my first day with it. It had a very reliable hard fade which is great for corners or shooting extreme anhyzer angles to get out of the rough. Everyone should bag a Felon.

***(update 6/5/19) LET IT GROW ON YOU.  I used to use this disc for a RHFH anhyzer flex, and still use it reliably for straight to hook shots, and approach to flare upshots.  When I throw this disc at 9 speed, I get what I want out of it... but if I don't (and throw less than 9), I get a sharp equivalent to something more in the 6 or 7 speed range but somewhat more consistent than my overstable 7's.  When thrown accurately this disc goes.  Sometimes this disc is used specifically for a meaty dogleg both BH and FH and I am happy to rely on it for that very reason.  This disc is not afraid of headwinds.

The felon out of the box is a great overstable fairway driver however I gave it three stars because every felon I have bagged becomes much more understable after only weeks of being thrown.

My Fuzion Felon will never leave my bag through my own choice. It's probably my favorite disc of all time.

This disc can handle power extremely well, and is obviously great in wind. Put anhyzer on it, it'll fought out and come back. Level release and it'll hold straight for a bit and fade pretty consistently. It'll hold hyzer all day.

It's probably the most consistent disc in my bag.

I'm happy that Eric Oakley introduced me to this disc at the clinic in Springdale, as I've been hooked ever since. I'm just hoping to get the Lucid-X plastic sometime soon.

The felon is very consistently overstable. I have more overstable discs in my bag (the TRIDENT), but the felon is a glidier overstable disc. I use this for highly controlled backhands, a lot of forehands, and my favorite is a wonderful forehand flex shot. I like the felon better than the firebird because it flies farther and the ones I have are flatter than the firebirds that I have had (which were slightly domey). Very accurate disc.

    174g Fuzion Felon

Not much I can say about the Dynamic Discs Felon that hasn't already been said. I will say that I was expecting something similar to an Innova Firebird, but what I got was something closer to a Thunderbird, I'd say. It also had a much thinner profile than I was expecting. It's a great disc that is reliable and it would make a great addition to anyone's bag.

The Fusion is like a 2017 Nate Sexton FB or an FD3. Crazy distance for such a dependable fade. I've definitely had beefier Firebirds, but I'll throw a justice in that slot. These are incredible. Absolutely mashing into a headwind and seeing little or no turn. I Bag a Fusion and a Lucid at the moment.

Well...if the firebird just didn't work well for you this is the disc.  For whatever reason I never like the firebird flight or the way it felt in my hand but the felon is smooth.  I have four of these that I bag.  The Lava are the most stable.  My favorite is a green one i've had forever, awesome disc for both forehand and backhand hyzer and approach shots.  Get this disc!

The DD Felon is the standard at which all High-speed Overstable Fairways should be held to. The DD Felon in the hand has an easy to grip rim that is very comfortable both forehand and backhand. It is not an especially deep feeling disc which for those with smaller hands is a boon. As far as tops go I have had the Felon in both Fuzion (relatively flat top) and Biofuzion (puddle top) and can vouch that the disc feels consistently good in the hand. The Lucid plastic Felons seem to be more Domey and more overstable in my experience.

The Felon is an excellent workhorse driver and compared to a Firebird is a bit straighter with a hard fade coming late in the flight and as a result gets surprisingly good distance. The Felon handles power very well allowing you to crank on this disc hard like you would with a Distance driver and rely on it not to flip on you on a backhand throw. As far as forehand throws go this disc has more distance potential out of the box than a Firebird would having a bit more glide and but not quite as much torque resistance.  This disc works excellent for forehand rollers, grenades, and most overhand shots as well but will fight out of pretty much any anhzyer line you try to put it on.

The Felon fights headwinds like a champ, with it's limits being probably near the 20mph range. Tailwinds and some crosswinds may pose to be a problem with this disc as it doesn't want to stay airborne for very long.

The Felon is overstable and as such is not good for a beginner. It will hide problems like OAT and will not go far at all. For slower arms looking for a overstable complement disc down to something like a Convict.

Overall the Felon suits it role well as a more workable utility disc. It offers you a bit more than what its numbers imply and for Forehand players is almost indispensable. Normally a disc this overstable would probably warrant a score closer to 3/5 stars but the Felon is surprisingly still quite good backhand and exceeded my expectations garnering a very respectable 4/5 stars.

Very stable for me. Even if I rip it, it still fades out.  Gets a decent skip. Comfortable in the hand, and easy to flick.  It's Firebird like, and is just as useful. Would recommend.

I have a Fuzion 169G and a Lucid 176G Felon. I love both of them very much for two different reasons.

169G Fuzion Felon: I like to throw this one for a dead straight shot with a medium level fade at the end. It does not show the normal characteristics of a felon. It is sneaky long also.

176G Lucid felon: Typical felon style beefy and doesnt know the meaning of wind.

Conclusion: Felons are amazing discs. Anyone with over 350ft of power should be able to utilize these discs and should own 4-5 of them :)

I picked this disc up off a course about 3 months ago and it has been in my bag ever since. I would compare it to a slightly used firebird. it takes some amount of finesse to control so I would not recommend it to beginners. It is great for sidearm shots. and has a decent amount of glide for an overstable control driver. If you have a decent amount of control over your discs then this will be a deadly weapon in your  bag.

The felon is the closest thing I can find to a flat top firebird out of the box, and flies just a tad farther. Usually I can throw a flat top firebird 240-270, but the felon I can push 270-320. It has a very smooth, controllable fade that hooks hard. It's great for backhands, and forehands. If you're looking for something reliable in a headwind, this is your disc. It has a good feel in the hand, and you have to put some steam on it so it's not the most beginner friendly disc.

I loved my Fuzion Felon. It was a great disc that did what I wanted it to do and would do it well. Unfortunately I lost that Felon and things just haven't been the same since. I have a lucid Felon that just doesn't fly the same, and I have two Sexton Firebirds that I have gone to more. If you are strictly trillogy, then the Felon is fantastic. I think it is even more OS than most Firebirds are. It has that really hard fade with a big skip that is characteristic of overstable fairway drivers and is a great addition to any advanced bag.

My fuzion Felon is my go to forehand disc and for very windy days I use it to fight it backhanded.  I've hit many trees with this disc and it just flies better.  Predictable fade both FH and BH.  This disc really works well with a nice flat FH drive.  Also use it for thumbers and tomahawks.

For me this is more of a utility disc. Strong winds or a fairway with a tough angle. I don't have a really fast arm and at this point I can't tell if I'm underpowering it or if it's doing exactly what it's supposed to do,dand that is fade hard.  However I do feel confident about its fade either backhand or forehand.

I really like the fuzion plastic, especially in a driver.  It has a nice grip to it and for someone who hits a lot of trees, it seems like it will last.

It's not an every hole type disc but it has definitely found a place in my bag.
