Dynamic Discs presents a Criminal that you might not mind getting to know. With more glide than the Felon and more stability than the Convict, this Criminal is exactly what you need to assault the disc golf course and improve your game. This fairway driver can be trusted to cover the ground necessary without giving up the stability you need for confident throws. If you want a hard-turning, overstable driver, it might be time to introduce a Criminal element to your game.

I absolutely love my Criminal. I have a few that I've always had in the bag as that disc that's so incredibly overstable that I rarely use it, but boy am I glad I have it when it's needed! It flies for me like a very overstable firebird, complimenting my Sexton and my beefy Destroyer very well. This works great for forehands, scramble flex shots, or chip hyzers that I need to stop on a dime. I'm very happy DD brought this one back in Lucid Ice!

This seems to be a very underrated disc, it is my most controllable high speed driver with low glide and predictable stability. It's not a complete meathook though, it beats into a really nice flyer similar in flight to a PD or overstable Thunderbird. Initially though it could fill that utility fairway slot of a Firebird.

In the hand the Criminal feels fantastic with a solid rim and a nice flat top.

I threw an older model of this disc and loved it after just one throw. The Criminal is an amazing overstable fairway driver. It is super hard to flip over and creates awesome and reliable hyzer shots.

I use this utility disc as a medium range skip shots disc and for medium range spike hyzers. It doesn't have a ton of glide and is pretty difficult to throw really far.

I also enjoy this disc for some nice hyzer forehand throws. It is especially helpful on those difficult up-shots around trees. the Criminal can be trusted to fade consistently to your target. It is not really affected by wind or rough weather (depending of the plastic). I really enjoy the lucid and biofuzion plastics with the lucid being my favorite.

I found this disc after losing my champion firebird to an unfortunate throw into a lake. I was bummed, but was immediately lifted when I found this disc. It immediately took my firebird's place in my forehand regimen and lifted my spirits with its overstable fade.

This disc is definitely worth checking out for anyone who looking foran  overstable forehand disc that you can just rip out into a right-curving fairway.

I tried a Criminal when trying to replace a DGA Tsunami.  I ended up choosing the Ahti for that spot so I compare the criminal to the Ahti.  It is straighter with less early and late fade and is a decently straight driver for forehand for me.  However, The Villain is a similar distance and more consistent and the Ahti has more fade so it didn't find a spot in my bag.

IF YOU THROW THUMBERS BUY THIS DISC! I have purchased many discs trying to find my longest distance thumber disc. I have bought or thrown Firebirds, XXX's, Fireballs, Flicks, Nuke OS's, Felons, Motions, Resistors, Stilletos, Eagles, and many more trying to find THE disc. I can tell you after all that, objectively, this is the farthest flying thumber disc I have ever thrown. Before this disc the farthest thumber disc I had was a Motion that i could consistly get about 340ft out of. But I found that all these discs had thin rim widths (around 1.1 or 1.2cm) which hurt my thumb after multiple throws and had the ability to slip out of my hand when I really cranked on the disc. I saw that the Criminal had a 1.5cm rim width and was really overstable so I thought maybe it could solve those problems and maybe only lose a couple of feet of distance. I can tell you I was only half right... Not only did the wider rim solve my grip issues as well as the pain my thumb would get, but it also ADDED 30-50 feet of distance consistantly! I have maxed out my thumber distance at about 400ft now. The only thing out there that could add more distance is if I got a gimmicky Aerobie Epic that are not even being produced anymore. Trust me, save yourself the hassle of trying other thumber discs. Buy the criminal in lucid plastic, enjoy the extra width for your thumb to get a full grip on the disc, and rip it. I also do enjoy throwing it backhand for overstable shots as well

Disc - 173 Dynamic Discs Moonshine Criminal

Feel - The criminal that I have feels different than any other criminal that I've felt. Mine is very flat topped while most others are fairly domey. I really enjoy this about this disc as it adds even more overstability. I'm not a huge fan of this disc for forehands because the rim is a bit deep but it does feel amazing for overstable backhand shots. The moonshine plastic is great and gives even more overstability than lucid.

Flight - The flight of the criminal is very similar to a felon in my opinion but perhaps a bit more overstable. It does not like to fly very far and always skips at the end of the flight. As a lefty, I don't use this disc a ton just because my forehand is a work in progress and do not need that much disc for it but the holes that I need it, it performs great.

Overall - The criminal is a good disc it just overlaps quite a bit with the felon in the DD lineup. I still bag it because it feels better in my opinion for backhands but they essentially fill the same slot. I would not recommend this disc to beginners at all.

As others have stated, it nicely fills the glideless-overstable niche of the bag, though with a slightly wide rim (if your somebody who finds firebirds or fd3's a little too thin). It's more comfortable to forehand than an fd3 in my opinion, due to its 10 speed rim.

The lucid criminal is ultra overstable. Not my favorite disc in my bag, but fits really nice in the hand, and is definitely predictable. Wouldn't call this a beginner disc because of the strong fade, but it does good for skip shots and control hyzer drives. For me its a solid disc for throwing a strong hyzer around 300-350, but ive yet to beat it in much. I'd say if youre looking for a disc you can get the same line and a little more distance would be the Cutlass

The Criminal is a long range distance driver from Dynamic Discs. The Criminal has a comfortable rim for a distance driver and the Lucid plastic feels great and is very durable. The flight of this disc is super overstable. It is a meathook. For me it flew like a Firebird, but it has a much wider rim. I think this overlaps way too much with a Felon. I just didn't like this disc as much as some of the other Dynamic Discs I've tried.

THIS is the Trilogy Firebird. This disc will not turn over in any wind or at almost any speed. When you need to go left, grab the Criminal.

4 outta 5 only because i know i have not seen the full potential of this disc with my mortal arm. in the bag for windy days and emergency needs, but rarely thrown. super overstable for myself, this is the justice of fairways if compared to a mid. All this said about being os, when needed this thing does all i want it to everytime. fight wind and finish super hard left (rhbh) and flare if intended. Great utility disc for me

This disc is ridiculous. When I first threw the criminal I thought it was a joke or a that maybe I accidentally threw it upside down. No. This disc is just crazy overstable. After having it in my bag for a while now, I think that every experienced player should have one of these in their bag. I use this disc when the Felon isn't enough or to put down a very long forehand roller. I am able to get some great skip shots with disc if the ground is playing right. Another thing this disc is great for is a forehand wrist roll. If everything you throw forehand is coming out on a serious anhyzer, grab a criminal and throw it normally, I promise you it will come back to flat and hyzer out.

Bought one to test how overstable it is. By far the most overstable disc I now have in my bag. Still breaking this in as my thumber disc which Ive been using a Firebird for since I've been playing. It definitely turns over quicker than the firebird when thumbing but it appears to get more distance. Attempted o throw backhand a few times and it is crazy overstable...way more than the firebird rhbh.

I love DD's Lineup, but I'm not a fan of the Criminal.  For starters, it feels odd in my hand.  It's cut deeper than most discs and the rim feels weird and uncomfortable to me.  I may be on an island here, but just doesn't work for me, and trust me, I wanted it to.

Next, I just don't know where it fits with the other beefy discs in DD's lineup.  I throw the Justice, the Felon, and the Defender.  I've thrown the Enforcer, but like a beefy Defender gives me close to the same flights.  The Criminal seems lost in the mix of better discs that do all it can do and more imo.

I'd be all for a beefier Felon (Felon Pro DD?), but this doesn't do it for me.  One of the few DD discs that I don't like.

This disc is very specialized and is not useful to most people, or in most situations. I happened upon one of these when I had just started playing disc golf and it was completely useless until I learned how to throw correctly, and even now it gets very little use. It is not a bad disc, just very specific to what it does.

The Lucid Criminal is a great addition to any bag as a headwind driver, tomahawk, thumber, or utility disc. I am extremely impressed with the overstability of the criminal. It fights harder than the Felon and digs deeper than the XXX. It found a spot in my bag immediately. I would not recommend this disc to a beginner because they should be working with neutral flight discs in order to learn control.

Big props to Infinite Discs for stocking 1st Run Lucids at stock stamp pricing.  Thanks guys!

I don't get it. It might just be the region I live in and that I have an average arm speed but I just don't see a point in owning a disc that is this overstable. The Dynamic Discs Criminal is an oddfellow to say the least. It's shape is very unique with a rim that feels pretty easy to grip forehand and back hand. The rim has a strange shape to it that forces the parting line height to be pretty consistent. My test subject is a board flat 169 First Run Lucid Criminal.

The Criminal does one thing, it fades out. Immediately out of your hand, as hard as you can possibly throw it, it fades out in a hurry. You can try to put a little or a lot of flex on it and the disc just wants to hyzer out. It's glide is very limited and basically only carries based on the power you put into the throw. I would try to say it is redeeming by being good at things like overhand shots, grenades, or forehand rollers but it even manages to do those poorly. It really is a one trick pony: hyzer for days. The part that annoys me is that the Enforcer manages to be very overstable but still very usable in my mind I wanted it to be a slightly slower enforcer but it definitely is not.

Headwinds? What headwinds? I didn't see any headwind here? This disc throws as much stability as it can at a headwind and then it has very little glide to boot so it will not flip on you in a headwind. Granted you still won't go very far because even with the increased airspeed this disc just wants to get to the ground. Tailwinds and crosswinds performance is as assumed, bad. If you play in an area with consistently raging headwinds you might get good use of this.

I feel like it's pointless to recommend this disc to beginners, it's pretty much pointless to offer it to intermediate/advanced players also, apart from pro I can assure you any other disc choice will be better than what the outcome of this discs flight will be.

To say the Criminal is niche is a bit obvious, this disc was only designed for one thing and that is to hyzer bomb. The disc itself is well manufactured and from what I've seen are very consistent, the problem is that apart from hurricane conditions and extreme angle changes I can literally recommend any other disc apart from this to do the same job but better. 2/5 stars is about as much as I can give this disc, it is far too niche and even then for a niche disc this is still kinda out there.

The Lucid Criminal is a very overstable, reliable driver; while the speed considered alone is a bit beyond ordinary fairway driver territory, the overstability and low glide keep it from really serving as a distance driver. As a precise tool for hard hook shots, true flex shots, and even thumbers, it has earned my respect, regardless of conditions (well, bring a towel if raining, but you know). It will fight hard and still zero to positive turn in a headwind, finishing strong. My only serious dispute with the provided description is numeric - it isn't as much of a brick as the glide number suggests, and I am glad.

As for profile, the Lucid is flat across the plate (but beveled at the rim, rather than flat the whole way across) with a fairly conventional rim for an OS driver. The BioFuzion Criminal I have is slightly domier, but still fairly low profile - no huge pop top.

Lucid 170. This disc is the exact same as my Frost XXX. Stupid overstable. Good for flicks, spike hyzers, getting out of trouble and just wanting a disc to go left (RHBH) in any wind and any situation. I think this should be only recommended for advanced players who know how to use it or understand nose angles.

If you have been looking for an OS, lower speed distance driver from Trilogy, look no further! The Criminal is a very stable speed 10 disc, that is great for utility shots, scrambles, wind and more. When I first got the disc, it was very OS, but now as it is breaking in I find myself using it for my "regular" flex shots as well. I'm currently at 4,500 ft. so I could definitely see the Criminal as more of a go-to at lower elevations.

I have been anticipating a stable disc, around a 10 speed, from Trilogy for some time now. There are others discs (many with a lower speed rating) that can fill the slot (XXX, Spark, Longbowman, Felon etc.) but none are quite like the Criminal. For starters, it is much more stable. To achieve this stability from those previously mentioned molds you really need to seek out the Fluid/Elasto/Frost glow plastics with a flat-top; the Criminal achieves this stability stock in Lucid. I also really like the profile of the Criminal. It has a more traditional shape unlike the others molds I mentioned; they have more blunt and squared off profiles. Also within the 10ish speed realm of other brands, this is one of the most OS options I have personally thrown, until getting up into the higher speed distance drivers.

Overall I think the Criminal is a great disc, and a great addition to Dynamic's lineup. It's exciting to see Trilogy, and really all brands, come out with some more OS options for our ever changing and growing sport. I am excited to see how the Fortress and Ahti from Westside will compare. If you have been looking for a very OS 8-11 speed disc that hang with all the Boss and Enforcer like discs out there, I highly recommend the Criminal.

Lucid Criminal... ahh what a treat this disc is! Finally a disc from DD that is similar to the Felon that is more comfortable for backhand throws.

    The Good:

-Extremely over-stable with a reliable fade at the end of the flight that is dependable time and time again.

-Similar to the DD Felon except more comfortable for backhand throwers with longer fingers.

-Rim is not too shallow or too deep, it is just right. Profile is perfect.

-Dependable for skip shots when thrown flat and low. Also dependable for tombstone hyzers that stick where they land.

    -Great in a headwind.

    The Bad:

-Disc is not suitable for lower arm speeds.
