Great straight flight that predictably dumps at the end.  Knocked the envy right out of the bag.

If there is any truly indispensible disc in my bag, it is the Rot. I have four shockwave, and one isolation rot. The isolation Rot is fantastic: straight and glidey. The shockwave is a bit flatter topped and has a slightly stronger fade. The disc has a shallow feel that's easy to get a solid grip on, and it has a nice small-medium sized bead for those that like a bead (it's small enough to probably not cause issue for those that don't like a bead). In terms of putting, it will carry straight anywhere in the circle, and has a very gentle, predictable hyzer in from C2 and beyond. In terms of throwing, this thing is laser straight for the first 80% of the flight and then it comes in with the same gentle but reliable fade. If thrown with proper spin, it can stand up to 300 feet of power with only a subtle turn (which is very impressive for a 2 speed with only 1 fade). I've thrown one of my shockwave Rots all season and it still flies basically like new after dozens of hits; you can't go wrong with this premium plastic. If you spin putt, or even if you don't, this is a must get. I don't bag a lot of Doomsday (just the Rot, Crisis and Ice Age) but the ones I do bag are used constantly. On Doomsday's website you can pick up 6 baseline rots for practice at only $36! I haven't tried the baseline yet, but I plan to. Whether in terms of cost, durability, hand feel, overall performance, or whatever it is that matters most to you, the Rot hits the spot and then some.
