    Biohazard Details

Biohard plastic from Doomsday Discs is a mostly translucent premium blend with a lot of flexibility and good grip. It's a gummier option than most premium discs on the market, and it comes with the same dirty, splotchy look as Toxic Waste, having been through the cataclysmic production process of the apocalpyse.

I originally got a Plague in Meltdown platsic over the holidays and wrote a review a couple months ago; but then I got two of these on a good sale as X-outs in Biohazard, and felt they were different enough that they warranted a separate evaluation. The Biohazard plastic seems to belong with the Champion blends from the look and feel, and hopefully their durability will bear that out (so far so good with field testing). It's likely due to their being X-outs, but compared to my earlier Plague, my Destroyer, and Valhalla, these are notably more overstable (more like my Felon): no discernible turn, and they start the left-leaning fade pattern of their flight (RHBH) pretty quickly after release (though less so than my Outlaw). Discs like this certainly have their place, and those with stronger arms and powerful forehands might really like this kind of flight performance. We'll see over time how the Biohazard plastic beats in, but for beginners, I think they will really struggle with the degree of overstability these X-outs have.
