The Desolation, from Doomsday Discs, is an all-purpose, overstable midrange. It has a straight flight that finishes with a moderate, consistent fade. It has smoothed-rim edges and a semi-deep rim to make it very comfortable for throwing and a go-to for seasoned players. It is part of the Catastrophic Line, and made in the USA for high performance that will last to the end of the world (which may come sooner rather than later).

I was expecting this disc to be a hyzer flip to straight flight because of the reviews, but instead it's quite stable, similar to an Emac Truth. Maybe it's because I picked one out in Toxic Waste Plastic, with a somewhat flat top. It has a deep rim depth, probably the deepest midrange I've ever felt, and i really like it. The plastic feels great, and looks great too.

This disc is great for throws that you are afriad of over throwing. It holds a straight line until the it loses speed, then the fade kicks in fast. It doesn't have much glide to at all. Seems to drop out of the air the moment it starts to lose speed, like a berg. You can get a great roll out of this disc though.
