The Basilisk, by Divergent Discs, is designed to be the first distance driver for beginners. This has an understable release that gently fades back at the end of its flight and is designed for players with a max distance of 200 feet looking to get more.

The Basilisk has a domed profile and flies with exceptional glide. It's a fun, wide-rimmed driver option that doesn't take a high-speed arm to achieve great distance results. Add some extra feet to your driving game with the Basilisk.

My Flight Ratings: 7/4/0/0 Very Beginner Friendly Throwing Distance: N/A Straight Score: N/A

I purchased 3 disc starter packs for myself, wife and son.  This is my favorite disk of the 9 different disks because at my low arm speed, this disk flies straight if released flat and holds the angle without flipping if released with hyzer or anhyzer.  On average, the basilisk flies about 30 ft further for me than the mids.  My longest throw was over 300 ft, but 220 ft is average.  The rim is very comfortable to throw with a power grip, but less so with a fan grip.  It also skips very well.
