The ultimate utility approach disc. Once it's done flying it will fall out of the sky, and it's aggressive fade makes flex line approach shots more viable than they've ever been before.

I mean.. it's exactly what you think it is. Doesn't go far, absolute beefcake of a disc.  One thing to consider.. this disc has 2 glide. Meaning it doesnt push to the left for RHBH as much as you think... it means it takes a nosedrive right down. So if I throw a Z zone and a Z zone OS the normal zone will probably have more of a left movement because it doesnt drop as fast. If you are looking for something that pushes hard to the left this isnt your disc.

Where this disc falls in the bag for most is when you are in trouble in the woods and need to flex something wild. Like, throw a forehand on a crazy amount of anhyzer and need it to fight out and get to the ground. That is what I reccomend you use it for.

I prefer a Whippet for most of that style of shot, but the Zone OS can be a nice option for short shots out of the woods.

Fell in love with this disc instantly. Absolute beef that is predictable every time you throw it. There is room in everyone's bag for a disc like this.

Discraft definitely nailed it as far as making a more overstable zone here. It doesn't have nearly as much glide as a regular zone does, and it has more fade, but doesn't skip too wildly. The hand feel is much different than a regular zone though. It is boxier and deeper, so releasing accurately definitely takes some practice, but otherwise this disc is excellent

I played with different zones over the past couple of years and fell in love with it for obvious reasons. I can't think of a more comfortable over stable forehand mid/approach disc.
Even with a weak forehand game, the zones always give me the most confidence for a flick upshot or get out of trouble disc.
That all changed with the Zone OS 1st run. I will admit it doesn't feel as prefect as the zone, but the flights with that fade I'm getting are the more desirable characteristics im looking for now. That said Zone OS has booted out the Zone in my bag. I would still recommend the zone just because that disc feels so comfortable in the hand, I just really like meat hook the Zone OS is, prefect for those get around bends

FANTASTIC DISC!!!   Now I've said that I can say I love this disc.   The crazy amount of overstability is easy to predict.  It's deeper than a normal zone but still fits in your hand.   You can throw it extremely hard and it will not flip on you.   Throw it hard on a flex line and watch the magic happen!!   Great utility disc and scramble disc.   I look forward to shanking my next tee shot so this BEEF can bail me out!!

As advertised. Similar stabiity to a Lucid Justice but with a better feel in my opinion. The feel is just like a zone but deeper and thicker rim.

Certified angus beeeeef cake.  I rated not begininer friendly because unless you've got someone telling you why this disc exists and that, yes it's supposed to do that, a newbie might think there is no reason for this disc to exist.

PERSONALLY, I like it in the few days I've had it.  I can shape that shot at the god foresaken course that is here locally that seems easy and fun until you really look close at the thousands of trees that are of so perfectly placed in the way.

It's a one or two trick pony though.  Does it do exactly what its supposed to do?  YES.  Does it do it well?  YES.  in a 55-72 shot round will you need this shape once or twice?  YES.  Are there other discs that can do what this Zone does, for sure.  And thats why I dont think I'm rating it higher.  Its not a bad disc.  It doesnt feel like a zone but its not a bad thing.  Its deep and beefy and solid but it really exists in the bag for a very narrow range of shots and I feel like i already carry a few discs that I can shape the same shot with.

This thing is stupid deep and stupid beefy, It is about 1.5x as deep as a normal zone, and feels very very different, but it is not a super bad thing. This reminds me a lot of a Discmania mutant, but id argue slightly more OS. Great disc when thrown properly, but I'd put it in the same category as a tilt. Its so overstable that it is a great utility disc, but most of the time I personally throw it when I shouldn't.

For being a deep disc, it is rather comfortable in the hand but feels nothing like the original Zone. It is definitely extremely overstable as you might expect and makes it difficult to throw for any king of distance, especially for amatuer arms. That being said, I can see this disc being a great utility disc option for players that find themselves in unique scramble situations. It's great for forehand flex shots and will give you flight paths not possible with other discs. For instance, a harsh backhand anhyzer line will get you out of a tough spot and rather continue on that line, will fade back to flat. All in all, bagging it will be player dependent as some players may not feel the need to have that scramble/utility style disc in their bag, but it is definitely a fun disc to try even if it isn't for you.
