The passion is an excellent, straight flying disc. It can be very unforgiving if your angle is off, but flies true on a good throw. I was expecting a slight flip up on hyzer, but it tends to stay on the angle you release it on.

As others have stated, it's a unique feeling disc, and mine is pretty flat. As the only 8 speed disc in my bag, it fills its distance role well and is workable to fit whatever shot shape I need from it.

Summary: The original FD, just from Discraft.

Feel: The rim may be awkward at first as it is flat before it turns down for the bottom of the wing. The ESP plastic is potentially the best grip based premium plastic, staying firm even in the middle of the flight plate. The rim is debatably an 8 speed, somewhere between an 8 and a 7.

Flight: Flight just like an original FD, or like a Buzzz with more distance potential. Holds how it's thrown and not fading out when thrown on anhyzer, or falling left when slowing down. Neutral enough to be thrown flat and fade forward, or on hyzer and pushing when it fades instead of falling out of the sky.

I throw this disc solely forehand and it's as true to its numbers as you can get. Very predictable flight and should get you where you want to be if given the right toss. My most used and reliable driver that I have in my bag

Could be the funnest disc to throw for really any skill level.  All of Paige's discs are pretty awesome.  I love the feel of the disc as well.  Different feel than any other disc, but I dig it.

My go to fairway for straight shots or long turnovers. Love it. Comes in nice swirly ESP plastic as well.

Super straight fairway driver, for long point-and-shoot drives.  It feels real fast, but is also super controllable.  I didn't think anything would impress me more than my River, but the Passion is becoming my preference for straight shots.

This disc became an instant favorite with it's controlled flight. It's so straight. I've been calling it my 8 speed mid range. It has the larger diameter of a mid and the wing looks like a stretched out Roc3 kind of disc. Use it for the shot that you may normally throw a mid and get some major distance in comparison. The confidence is up with one of these in my bag.

I found this disc, the prototype version, at a local course and hadn't had a chance to try it out until recently. I throw sidearm only. After trying a few lines I found this disc is really strong on a flat, straight release. Holds a beeline to the basket very well and without requiring a beefy arm. A good disc.

I have only thrown it one night, but have a lot of experience with cyclones and I believe this is fairly more stable. I have thrown this into headwinds where the cyclone will show some turn, this won't! Compliments the cyclone very well, handles mediocre headwinds.

If you wanted a stable yet faster FD with a unique rim - this disc is for you. This disc wants to fly on the line you throw it on and it will keep that line. Over power it and you can get it to turn and dive, but with enough height on it this disc is a perfect turnover disc.

I mainly use this for wood courses as it doesn't handle wind very well, but tight/technical shots this is pinpoint accurate and reliable.

    Great for all skill levels.

This is the first disc I have thrown that flies exactly like the flight numbers right out of the box. I can get this about 300 feet in an open field (about my max usable distance) and with just a bit of touch I can get it to finish left or right. I need to work with it more but I am guessing it will push out my river to become my primary natural fairway. It just seems a little more controllable and predictable. It has more torque resistance and less glide but I can get it farther because I can throw it a bit harder without it acting silly.

I bought this disc from a store owner recommendation. I told him how much I love the ESP Stalker but was considering the Undertaker. He said the Undertaker would likely just replace my Stalker in my bag and handed me the passion and said it was his now go-to disc. After having this disc a few weeks, I find it likable but not as perfect as he described. I can get so very good glide out of the disc but a bit inconsistent at the moment. I trust my Stalker and can get about the same distance. The one thing the passion has going for it, is if you put it on a hyzer or anny it will hold the line really well. Others do not like the feel of the disc, but I don't mind it. It is a bit different but I found it comfortable pretty quickly.

Flies as straight as an understable fairway but you do not need to hyzerflip it, I was able to release it flat and it stayed laser straight  with no turn or fade out to 350ish ft.

The only large problem is this is the worst plastic I have ever felt. I own many other ESP discs and they all have a little grip, even my Z plastic discs have 10x the grip as this disc. I could have dunked this disc in dawn dish soap and had the same grip. It wasn't until I caked my hand in surf wax (not necessary for my other discs) that I was able to grip this disc and achieve amazing flights with it.

The passion has quickly become one of my favorite discs.  For my arm speed (driving distance 300'), this disc is completely neutral.  It will hold a hyzer or anhyzer and can get near diver distance for me with a hyzer flip.  I agree with other reviewers that found the prototype to be a bit less stable than the first run.  To me, the feel and flight are similar to a Mako 3, just faster and longer and a touch more fade.  it will punish poor lines, as it goes very much where you aim it.  The rim is quite different than anything else I bag (kinda reminds me of a Roc or Göte) but once I got used to it, it's now comfortable.  It's performed well in a light breeze, but I'd reach for something more stable in moderately windy conditions (as would anyone else).

Discraft did a great job with the swirly ESP, a very beautiful disc with some very cool foils from which to choose.  And as a bonus, it supports Paige Pierce whom I greatly respect and admire.  Highly recommend

Has a unique hand feel unlike any fairway I've thrown. I got this to compete for the stable fairway spot in my bag with the mantis . Still making decisions but great disc. The swirls on the esp plastic are awesome. Definitely recommend if the your wanting something controllable and good for all skill levels. Gonna try and learn to throw the disc forehand soon due to the hand feel have only gone backhand mostly so far.

The Discraft Passion is a good flying stable fairway driver. For those familiar with the old school Discraft Discs, it's like a cross between the Stalker and the Cyclone. The Cyclone is one of Discraft's oldest drivers and featured a unique "bump" at the edge of the rim. The Passion has that same bump, but is a little faster disc with a thicker rim than the Cyclone.

The Passion has a nice flat top and is very controllable. When I throw it flat it will fly straight with a very modest fade at the end of the disc flight. At a Hyzer Angle it holds the hyzer line very well. This is a consistent flying disc for me both backhand and forehand.

If you're looking for a consistent, controllable disc and are a fan of Paige Pierce, the Passion is a Solid disc to try.
