This disc is a flick roller cheat code. Because of the stability, you can flick it straight up and down and it will hold a dead straight roller line with a consitient curl at the very end of it's roll. Put it on a little cut and it will get a nice long roll, little more cut and it will hold a long cut roll. Only problem is I have to resist the temptation to throw rollers on every hole, because it does make it a higher percentage shot than it normally would be.

Serves it's purpose and stays in my bag for that reason. I think the most stable disc there is. In the biggest winds this is what I'll pull out flick. Can't be flipped. Still get good distance

    Massive Beef!!!

I had one of these in the bag for a short while this year. The disc is very fast and very OS. If you don't throw 450 plus I would stay away. I actually enjoy the Stiletto I have in the bag just a bit better as it's not quite so utility beefy. I can get a longer straight flight versus the Nuke OS which essentially fades right out of the hand. I keep it around just in case I ever play when the wind is 30+. So it could still have it's use in the future if I play in a hurricane or tornado.

I give this 4 stars because it's not a nuke at all unless you have the power to throw 600 feet your not going to get this anywhere near as far as a regular nuke. it's extremly overstable and will start fading the second it starts to slow even a bit. like a long range massive meat hook. it's near impossible to get up flat and I would say the disc has a good deal of positive turn not a 0 maybe +1 or even 1.5. if you can somehow throw this on flex and still get enough power into it to maintain flight then maybe you could get it out a bit farther but I max around 350 with this disc. that being said I do still bag this disc as if you throw it flat you can count on 50ish feet of fade to the left if you throw it slightly nose up you can get 75+ft and if you throw it really nose up you can get it to go up and around a corner, stall out and actually come backwards like a boomerang.

The NUKE OS was one of the first discs I ever threw and I still throw it to this day. If you are looking for a disc with a crazy amount of fade this is the disc for you. I only really throw the NUKE OS on forehand mostly because I think it is more comfortable and I can't throw it hard enough back hand. If you are a forehand dominant player definitely get one it feels so good in the hand. The disc does have some glide but for most players it is so overstable that if you done put it on anyhyzer it will start to fade before it can glide. Speaking of anhyzer, this disc can hit some of the craziest flexlines I have ever seen and can get you out of a lot of trouble. It is also a fantastic disc for skip shots if you need to get around a corner or just a big hyzer around a corner. If you are looking for a disc in the wind this is also one of my favorite discs to pull out of the bag in any kind of wind.

Well first off my nuke os is a crystal plastic. I found mine in a swamp years ago when I first started playing. I always hated the disc cause I couldn't get to fly right, but after a while I found it to be my go disc for getting out of tight spots. With some time and effort it had become my got disc. I still can't get any "driver" distance out of it but it is extremely predictable where it is gonna drop. I run it as my approach and long range putter and it hasn't failed me. At 140 ft I can sink it or at least plant it 8 out 10 times. Definitely not a disc to give up on.

This disc is exactly as advertised, insanely over stable and will not turn over on you. Great for windy days as well. I do not bag a Nuke OS just because the rim is a little shallow for my taste, instead I bag a beefy max weight champion Destroyer.

    Plastic: Z-Line

    Weight: 176g

Feel: Z-Line plastic is well known by those who throw Discraft, but for others, it is essentially Champion/C-Line plastic.  The Nuke OS is a very wide-rimmed, flat Distance Driver whose rim is very comfortable for a sidearm grip.

Flight: This is A LOT of disc, and is essentially a pure utility disc for 99% of players.  That being said, it is excellent at being that.  I personally use this disc for short sidearm flex shots in the woods, as flicking this disc on heavy anhyzer will allow it to flex and sharply around trees and clear and angle that seems impossible.  This disc is also very capable as a tommy/thumber where you want the disc to swoop down right/ left respectively, and not really fight back the other way.

Conclusion: This is a VERY overstable disc, and while it definitely isn't beginner-friendly, I do think that everyone needs that absolute meat-hook disc.

Sidenote: The Z plastic does feel like it has better grip than Champion, and is as if not more durable.

In my younger days, I used to pitch baseball sidearm so I'm in love with this disc off the tee.  If you can throw a 75-80mph fastball with good control, you'll love this disc.  If not, the overstability will take over and you will be greatly disappointed.  Give this thing the speed it wants and it will give you the results you want.

I found this disc with no name. I gave it a try today as I was playing somewhere I wanted to trust the disc would finish left. Trust me, you won't have a problem getting this disc to finish left! It's one of the most overstable discs I've ever thrown. A machete might be slightly more overstable, but this thing is up there with it. Therefore, you won't be getting much distance with this disc, but you can guarantee this disc will not turn on you even if you're throwing in the wind.

I was thinking I'd just trade this disc in right away because it would be too overstable for me, but I think I'm going to keep this one in my bag. There are just times that you need that super overstable disc, and this fits that bill well.

This disc is not for weak arms by any means. I first used this disc when I had a driving distance of 350ft and it was way to over stable but when I started driving over 400ft it became useful for sharp dog legs and skip shots. This disc also gets me a lot of distance on a forehand flex.

An incredibly fast and OS driver. The one I have has a very flat top and shoots out of my hand. This is more like a speed 14 driver IMO.

I do not backhand this unless I'm spike hyzer out of trouble. I usually use this on FH flax shots around objects. It always finishes with a strong fade.

The Discraft Nuke OS feels very similar to the original Nuke, it has a super wide rim that doesn't fit my hand very comfortably. This is a disc for players with some serious power, or players looking for an overstable utility disc. I really couldn't get this disc to do much of anything but hyzer out. I don't have the power to make this disc useful. I can take a slower overstable disc and get the same flight, just with more control. Not a disc for me, but big arms may want to give it a try.

This is not for weak arms. If you don't get 350+ feet of power, this disc is going to hyzer out on you hard. If you have the armspeed for it, this is an amazing disc that you will not get to turn over. This is the disc I throw when there is heavy wind and I can't have a disc flip over, or if I need an absolutely massive forehand flex the avenger can't handle. I would not suggest this for beginners, but bigger arms will have a field day with it.

I only throw forehand because of a shoulder injury. I’ve always loved discrafts overstable discs and this is another great one. It’s very predictable and very fast. It has more distance than the flick or predator because of that speed. This disc is fantastic in the wind (which is most days in Texas) and for long hyser drives. Again I don’t throw backhand but I imagine it wouldn’t be an easy disc to use because of the thickness of its rim

This disc regularly skips farther than I've thrown it.

I realize that sentence is a bit confusing, but it's exactly what the Nuke OS does for me. I don't get to use it often, but I'm super excited when I get to. On extreme dogleg lefts, I'll throw this low (hyzer, flat or with anny, depending on how far I want it to go before it dives into the ground) and this thing takes off on a massive rainbow skip. I've never had an Ape, Giant, or World get these skips. Maybe a Stiletto or X1 is close, but they don't flare up as high as my Nuke OS.

I don't have a sidearm or overhand, but I see plenty who do, use the Nuke OS and use it well: JC Kester is one of them:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R-i7dcWFumg

This disc is very stable. If thrown into a headwind you can get s curves out of this disc but unless you have a power arm that is the only way you will be able to get s curves out of this disc. This disc is one that I use at my local course on an open downhill hole that when there is a headwind or a cross wind the disc fights through them to end up left of the beginning path for a right hand backhand thrower. This disc does have some great length but you must have the power to get it up to speed to get maximum distance. This is also a disc that can be used as a roller in tight situations.

This disc is a great compliment to the line of Nukes. It is exactly as the name states, an overstable Nuke. It is extremely beefy. It is hard to get a lot of distance with this disc, but the purpose fo this disc to me was a utility disc to get out of trouble or around a sharp corner. It has a great reliable flight and fits in well with the rest of the Nukes

This is a very overstable driver that competes with the likes of the Ape and Giant.

I actually find the grip to be very similar to it's namesake, the regular Nuke, but the parting line is a bit higher.

It is quite fast and you can get some glide out of it, though not much turn and the fade is a sweeping fade not the dumpy abrupt fade often seen with the Stiletto or Rask.

It's not quite what I was looking for, but if you liek Discraft and need a headwind Nuke this is a good go to!

I love this disc!! As a primarily forehand player this is one of the most consistent drivers I could ask for, regardless of weather conditions.  With that being said this disc is very over-stable and takes a lot of power.  Definitely not for a beginner.

This is a very fast and overstable disc. I have thrown this disc from the beginning and it took me awhile to figure out. This disc is perfect for any forehand throws. I can not throw it back hand becuase it is way too overstable for me. I throw this disc on 90% of the holes i play on.

The Nuke OS (Elite Z 175g) was my first driver purchased from Discraft. Truth be told it was one of my first disc purchases ever. Needless to say, the Nuke OS was out of my game and out of my bag pretty quickly. That was until I started using it for my forehand shots.  This was when I truly started to see the potential in the 'OS'.  Now I will ALWAYS have one in my bag, because of how versatile it is.

I strictly use it for forehand distance throws (Hyzer, level, anhyzer).

If I used it for my RHBH it is because I am looking for a mighty hyzer line and I'm okay with it skipping or rolling from the landing spot.

The Numbers are dead on and the Elite plastic has held up very well. This disc serves a great purpose. When released Flat it will always dependably fade back becoming very useful for holes with dog legs. If you need a tight flex shot or a quick S-Curve, put this disc on a anhyzer and it will pretty much defy gravity to fade back. Need a strong arm for it, but its a very useful disc. The only DiscCraft disc to make it in to my bag.

MEATHOOK. This disc does not go right, at all, ever (RHBH). I have an orange max weight elite z Nuke OS, and I only use it for hard dog legs left, drives with a massive headwind, forehand flex shots, and thumbers.

This is an amazing thumber disc. I can place a thumber 300 feet out within 10 feet of my target. If there is no ceiling or wind during my shot, I will throw a thumber with the Nuke OS.

This disc is uber overstable. It bites hard left out of the hand, and I can't seem to change that. I understand the purpose of this disc: to be a straight to overstable disc for the biggest arms. I'm not one of those arms, so this disc is not for me.

It turns and fades before it even leaves your hand! Not quite, but is one of the most overstable discs on the market. If you are playing disc golf in a hurricane-force headwind, the Nuke OS might be useful. Besides that, its uses are somewhat limited. If somehow manage to turn one over, you have the worst off-axis torque in history (google it). Suitable only for high winds, spike hyzers, or overhand shots.

I don’t have a “Big” arm . But yet one of the most thrown Disc off the tee pad for me is a Discraft OS Nuke. I started Flicking for distance but found that as I was getting better at the flick I was flipping every thing over. So I got a Z plastic Nuke and that solved that problem to a point. But living here in Kansas with high winds I needed some thing even more stable that could turn back to the right and not head into the wind. Along came the Discraft Z Nuke OS and what a differance. I release this disc with a high anhyser and even in a 30 MPH wind that disc will turn back over and finish to the right . I also use this disc if I absolutly need to go to the left. I just throw it back hand with a little anhyser and let it do its thing .Great Disc.

The Nuke OS is incredibly overstable. I cannot review the Nuke OS for normal shots, I use it primarily for thumber (overhand) shots. That being said, I can throw the Nuke OS about 250-265ft in the air using the thumber shot with great accuracy, and when it hits the ground, most times it rolls annother 20-30 ft. I highly reccomend anyone trying to develop an overhand shot to try the Nuke OS!
