    Putter Line Soft Details

Discraft Putter Line plastic was a hybrid of the original Pro-D base plastic to upgrade it for increased durability and grip. The Putter Line Soft is a more flexible, softer version of the blend for players who prefer extra soft discs. This 2021 update made the putters feel better for use in differing weather conditions and made it more of a mid-grade plastic blend.

The Challenger has been around for a long time but I had never tried one until recently. I was putting with Westside Shields but when I needed a new one, the growth of the sport in this last year has made Shields hard to find in the US. I tried a few putters and then ended up grabbing a Challenger in the new Putter Line plastic. I love the new plastic because it's grippy enough but still releases very cleanly. I recently changed to more of a spin putt style and the Challenger is well suited to spin putts. It's also a similar depth to the Shield and a similar small bead and flat top, so it was an easy transition. Numbers seems accurate to me 2/3/0/2
