    Neo Soft Details

Soft Neo is a much softer and more flexible version of traditional Neo plastic. The grip and look of the plastic is the same as Neo, but the gummier composition of Soft Neo allows you to catch the disc with ease and makes the disc stick where it lands without much skipping or sliding.

I threw a Glitch, and then I threw a Spore. Then, I ordered a Spore :) Absolutely love this disc/Neo Soft plastic! Like others say, the wind will yank it, but they are very light. I'd probably say the fade is on the heavy side of 1, but still usually have no problems making it fly straight. Great for tunnel shots and tricky approaches.

The Spore in the Neo Soft plastic feels amazing and is very grippy. Great for colder days. It's going to get absolutely slammed in the wind, so thats something to watch out for. For me it's a little harder to get a clean release compared to the Glitch, but it flies just about the same. With the soft plastic and soft landing, it'd be ideal for approach shots onto sloped greens. It would also be a good option for warming up and playing catch.

This disc is what I was hoping the glitch would be. I have good arm speed and this thing can handle some torque.

I just got one of these in Soft Neo, I putt with Discmania Links and this feels like a ballooned version of that. Smaller rim, hence the slower speed, but a very similar feel. Almost Judge-y. This is def more overstable than glitches and honestly a really reliable upshot disc. This is gonna take the place of my premium Link for the time being because I can just bag this instead of a Neo Link and a Glitch. I'm excited to bag it! I'll probably need to get a firm one when Infinite Discs gets those.

The Spore is what I was looking for in the hybrid catch-disc market. This disc is fantastic not only for warming up before rounds with friends but also for making soft bids in low-wind situations. This disc will tell you if you have any imperfections in your form, any release issues you have will become immediately apparent as the Spore flies. The Soft Neo plastic is a wonderful addition, allowing the disc to bend and give as it hits the ground, encouraging the disc to sit when it hits the deck instead of picking up and rolling off your target.

*NOTE* I only give 5-stars out to discs I bag and throw actively. A 4-star disc is great. It may come in and out of the bag for me, but I could see another player actively bagging it.

Summary: One of the better 1 speed discs out there and worth trying out if the Glitch isn't for you. For me, 1 speeds haven't quite clicked with my game and was too deep for my personal preference. Great catch disc though!

Naturally, I want to compare this disc to the Glitch. This is the newest catch-and-throw, lid-style disc. I believe the hand feel is too deep for most players to find comfortable. I was not getting consistent and clean releases on the Spore. I'm sure that other players would be able to get a better grip, but for me, this was too deep in a power grip and for full-power shots.

For touchier shots, the Spore was a lot better than the Glitch. With a more consistent finish, the Spore feels more reliable for those nose-up approach shots. The Soft Neo plastic felt good in the hand and really stuck to the ground. It feels a lot like the gummy C-Line that was in last year's mystery box.
