The Majesty is a true 13-speed disc, meant for slightly more advanced players. This disc will give an intermediate player a chance to experience the coveted S-turn, and advanced players a slightly understable driver that will hold an anhyzer nicely or perform beautiful hyzer flips.

The Majesty will excel in tailwinds, moderate headwind, backhand, forehand, and roller shots. The Premium version of the Majesty will naturally be more overstable than the base version.

I like the active premium plastic. Seems similar to other Champion-type grades: easy to grip but also a smooth release; hopefully it proves to be durable. Maybe Discmania has calibrated its flight numbers based on their long-time power throwers (like their now-departed "Crush Boys"), and for them this 13-speed would seem more understable like a -2/2; however I'm going to say that the Majesty is much more stable than the numbers indicate -- using as my basis a few other discs with the same or very similiar flight numbers: the Innova Shryke, Yikun Qi, Infinite Pharaoh, and Doomsday Famine. It flies more like an Emperor or Destroyer for me. Nothing really wrong with the disc itself, just be aware that it might fill a different slot than initially expected. The domey shape can take some getting used to: for my hands, my thumb comfortably rests right along a rounded portion on domey discs, making them tend to roll/slide away from my thumb just enough to tend toward a hyzer release if I'm not really careful.

The Majesty is a surprisingly bad driver, and doesn't really fly like the flight numbers indicate. Flat, beefy, and glideless. I've thrown 3 different Majesties, and haven't been impressed with any of them. The disc is lightning fast, but won't glide or turn very much. Disappointing to say the least.

    I'd say something like 13, 4, -1, 3. Poor glide and a dumpy fade.

    This disc is worth skipping.

Very overstable, and not a lot of glide.

I can get a lot more distance out of the DD

Resale isn't great for these discs probably just throw this on water shots don't really care if I lose it.

This review is for a 174g Active Premium Majesty.

The disc I received is fairly dome-y. This disc flies far more stable than the numbers imply. It only displays any turn when throw with extreme arm speeds and will not turn over from anything beyond the slightrest hyzer. This disc travels fast, but does not seem to glide very far and fades fast and hard.

The Active Premium plastic is stiff and feels slick but still manages to provide adequate grip. It has great durability as high speed impacts into trees and asphalt have done very little damage.

This is could serve as a hard fading driver like the Scepter or Scythe when you want a strong and reliable fade.

    Flat top - 174g

Way more OS than expected. Flew more like a dd3 with less glide. The feel is pretty deep and not very comfy BH but pretty comfortable FH. Torque resistant on FH. Not really something I'm looking for as I prefer the DD3

I use this disc exclusively for power forehands (400ft+). In my experience, the newer runs tend to fly a lot like an overstable boss... a little bit of high speed turn and hard fade at the end of the flight, which fits perfect for a forehand when going for distance and dump at the end of flight. Older runs fly more true to the flight numbers with a lot less fade and more high speed turn.

Both have their use but the new runs have become a staple in my bag.

See my flight rating. I believe this disc has much less glide and turn than its official rating, and it definitely fades hard. Yet it is truly fast. I have a few Pharaoh (speed 13) discs that are heavier, yet will go farther, but the Majesty gets to 300 feet much faster than the Pharaoh does. Unfortunately, the Majesty is about to nose dive at that point, whereas the Pharaoh keeps gliding.

To get a decent throw with this disc, I have to use my strongest forehand with an anheiser release (think Randy Johnson). Frankly, I only use it for exercise, for which it is useful, granted ...

The majesty really doesn't feel like it's flight ratings, less turn, and pretty hard fade once it starts to fade. It can be really useful if you need to get around trees or something, but for something more useful, there's a good variety of -1 turn, 2/3 fade discs that I find more workable.

The Majesty is a very interesting high-speed driver. In the hand, this disc feels very much like a domey Nuke. However, I find the flight numbers are not accurate as this seems to have less turn than even my Tour Series Nukes. The flight reminded me more of a well-used R-pro Boss; just a little turn, hard fade. Personally, I don't really have a use for this disc, but could see it as a great wind disc for people who like the wide rim.

I got a Majesty in each of the Discmania mystery boxes that dropped in 2020.  Initially they didn't make my bag because I've shied away from discs with these flight numbers (looking at you, Groove...)  I decided to add it to the pile of discs I took out for field work and finally gave it a few throws. And wow, I was missing out.

First, to address the 13 speed - it throws much easier than that, and does not require a 13-speed arm to get a good flight out of it.  Now it still requires 11+ power to keep it from flying too overstable, but even at that amount of power it produces a nice straight flight with fade.

The disc is an absolute bomber.  It is great for max distance but still hanging on to some control.  There is often reluctance to reach for the very-wide rim drivers because they tend to sacrifice some control, but I have had no trouble placing the Majesty right where I want to.  I get an S-curve flight out of it and the turn helps give it easier distance, but it's not so understable that you lose that control.  The low profile makes it great for shots in the wind.

The Active Premium plastic is similar to C-Line but seems to have just a touch more grip to me.  It's great plastic.  Both discs I received were manufactured really well - crisp stamp, no sharp edges - it's the real deal.  It's obvious that Discmania wanted this disc to be special.

I would say that it compares favorably to the DD2, but the DD2 is a bit more overstable and requires more arm speed to get it to fly as intended.

Throwing Active Premiym plastic at 4,400 ft in Utah. To me, 5 stars = incredible disc 4 stars = good & dependable disc. I don't give out too many 5 star ratings.

    This disc is pretty beefy!

Active Premium has a good feel, and it is pretty durable as well. Hit a few trees, and pavement with little damage. The rim is kind of interesting, for me it is too wide. Its uncomfortable for me to hold in forehand grip or backhand power grip. Not my favorite to hold. It is also fairly domey as well.

For me, I've got a slower arm, and this thing is pretty beefy. I can get some decent flex lines, but it always hyzers out quickly. I don't get any turn out of this disc, it just flies straight and then dumps.

Overall, not my favorite disc. To me this is a utility driver, one that is not as good as others. I don't think I would recommend this disc to many people.

Holy cow this thing is FAST...maybe too fast. The Majesty is an absolute bomber. I definitely can't blast this to it's potential every time, but when done right this thing doesn't know how to slow down. I only give it 4 stars because to me it doesn't feel much different in terms of flight than a DD2. However this should be much more accessible to the public (we miss you, originals line)

I got a premium Majesty in the Black Friday Discmania mystery box, and although it didn't make my bag (hence 4/5 stars), I did like the flight. Brand new, it flies straight for a while with good glide, then a consistent finish. The active premium plastic feels really good. Quite shallow for some people, but it felt decent in my hand. Forehand or backhand, this should be a pretty nice straight flier that beats in to slightly flippy (I throw around 325' average). Wouldn't necessarily recommend to a beginner just cause of the high speed.
