For a solid throw with a bit of personality to its flight, the Squall by DGA fits the bill. This disc has a smooth flight with a hint of turn and slightly stronger fade before it sits down. The disc has an average to thin sized rim, and has a great feel for making a nice midrange or approach shot.

A very fast midrange and a very slow fairway driver. The squall has a smooth feel in the hand and can provide a unique spot in anyone's bag. It shines when used as a straight to overstable flyer that you can keep in the fairway but throw further then just about any midrange. At the same time, players who can down tempo their throws well can even use this as a midrange or 1 disc round option. The Aftershock occupies my favorite midrange spot right now and can fly just about as far as the squall, but either way the squall is definitely worth checking out

This is the most slept on disc and company. The plastic is amazing. it's tacky grippy and durable. The squall is a disc that you reach for when you shank a tee shot it has more distance than a mid range wich will probably leave you short and less distance than a fairway driver that will rung long. I think it's best described as a scramble disc. it also is very useful for a shot where you need to hit a landing zone. I feel the flight is more straight with a slightly stable finish. Basically a longer vroc

The Proline Plastic can range from ESP to Titanium like. That is why it is good to be able to see what the disc looks like. No matter what version you get they are very durable and grippy. The feel in the hand is nice and good for any player

The Squall is a tweener. What I mean by that it is faster than most midranges but slower than most fairways. If there is a hole that you can't quite reach with a midrange like a Buzzz I'd reach for the Squall.

The flight path is straight to understable. Give it a slight hyzer and around 300 feet of power and the net result will be a very straight line.
