The Sail is an understable distance driver from DGA, meant to provide a wide range of players a disc with a wide array of possible uses. With a high glide rating, this driver will allow new players to increase their driving distance, as the Sail will remain aloft with lower speed drives. This disc is great for shots meant to end without fading back.

I expected a super flippy disc. The weight on mine is in the 170s. After doing some digging, I think the lighter weights would likely be more true to the numbers. Based on the measurements of this disc, it is very similar to the Latitude Sapphire. The Sapphire is only available in lighter weights with the exception of the 2021 Trilogy Challenge. Those 2021 Sapphires fly a lot like a 170+ Sail. So, if you want the flippy ones, get the lighter ones.

I received a SP Line Sail in a player pack and it doesn't feel like an 11 speed. It feels more like an 8 speed and it has amazing glide.  The Sail I received has the biggest pop top and I believe that makes it more stable.  It flew very straight for a long time, but now is quite seasoned and is severely flippy.  I had to put more and more hyzer as it get more flippy, which taught me a lot about angle control.  It would be a great beginner driver.

I've had these in SP and PL and i feel like the PL might beat in a bit quicker. They both have an understable flight when powered up but fairly neutral with a slight fade if powered down. Hyzer flips and rollers are pretty easy with a average arm.

the only problems with understable discs is them holding the flight for more than a 10-15 rounds if used frequently.

Being new, this has been my go to for a bit now. Seems to always go where I want it to.

So this disc is not an 11 speed driver.  The rim feels feels bit more like an 8 speed but it has insane glide and can fly as far as my higher speed drivers.  This is a very very understable disc and at full power I find I have to release it on an almost vertical hyzer angle and watch it flip up and then slowly drift right (rhbh).  But at 70-80% power it will flip up and go so dead straight.  It's perfect for tight fairways and narrow gaps.  It feels great in the hand and releases super smooth.  I love the SP plastic as it's crazy durable.

Just bought this disc.  Normally use an Escape for distance.  The Sail easily added ten feet to my throws and throws incredibly straight.  Expect it to break in to understable.  On a few throws it ended with an S curve.

I normally throw about 250 to 280.  I am an older player with a slow arm.
