I got my first Crosslap discs for Christmas and just got decent weather this week to do some field work with them. The Vigil (mine is in Platinum) has a different feel than any of my other discs: it seems more rubbery and yet also has somewhat sharp edges (outside, and underneath); it also has a rather unique dual-layered inner rim (not sure if that's helpful or not). It can be really easy to flip this over (and cross your fingers if you throw it into the wind), so I list it with more Turn; I don't know that it has a full 2-Fade either. That being said, knowing how it functions now, I can throw it on hyzer releases and get it to fly flat and let the high glide kick in to let it soar far. Barring an occasional bad/low throw, it was consistently performing better for me than its distance driver sibling the Openwater. So it can be very functional, and should be an easy disc for beginners to have success with.

Got this as a mystery disc add on and it's an experimental disc.  It flies half decent, straight out of the box its definitely understable with a lot of turn.  My issue wasn't so much the flight of the disc, a beginner (first six months) can probably get some extra distance with it as its easy to throw and glides well.

My issue was that there was severe flashing on the outer edge of the disc which is already very sharp.  Even after sanding it down the flashing was still cutting up my hands.  Also, the  track on the inner lip of the disc didn't add anything for me.

So if you're looking to try something outside the box, you might enjoy that inner track, and maybe they fix the flashing issue.
