I hate it but my friend who is an experienced disc golfer can send it so I guess it is technique and preference. We have different throwing styles.

Pretty bad disc for anyone who can throw over 150 ft. You'll overturn this without even trying. Great for beginners I guess? Very sharp edges and weird beading on inside of grip. Quality isn't good.

The Vigil is a very friendly beginner driver. It is real understable, and real easy to throw to get some distance.

This disc is incredibly easy to throw, and easy to overpower. If you're struggling to get past 200 feet, you should give this disc a try. I can throw this about that far and get a solid flight path. But as soon as I try to throw farther than that, it turns over quite easily and quickly. This could also work to help you learn how to throw rollers, maybe.

One thing that I find interesting about the Vigil is its rim. It has a bump on in the inner rim. Its a little odd, but you get somewhat used to it. The bump seems to add some sort of traction, whcih is nice.

Overall, a great beginner's disc.

Wow. The Crosslap Disc Vigil might just be the flippiest, most understable disc golf driver I have ever thrown.

I rate this 5 stars, but only give it a five star rating for beginners, really old people, really young people, and people with really weak arms. If you can throw 200 feet, this disc is probably too understable for you. For those people who max out their distance at about 100 feet this thing will bomb. With ultra low speed it can get a full S curve flight path.

If you have an ultra weak arm, try out the Vigil. you might just have a new favorite disc.
