The Mint is an overstable approach disc. It has a flat top and a rim that is quite similar to a zone and harp, which makes for a comfortable grip whether in a forehand grip or a backhand grip. This throwing putter is designed to fly straight and dump, providing a consistent flight for those approach shots, and tricky angles.

The Clash Discs' Mint makes for a great throwing putter, providing a solid approach disc that is reliable. It can handle a variety of adverse weather conditions, giving you a trusty putt & approach disc.

I expected this disc to be very very similar to a zone, and it was disappointing. Every forehand I threw with the disc ended up turning and never coming out of it. I also had a problem with yanking it and holding onto the disc for way too long. Quickly bought a new zone after buying a mint and it came out of my bag in less than a month. Was not a good forehand approach disc for me personally.

This is what I wanted the zone to be for me. Is slightly deeper and has a bit more glide than a zone, and powered down or normal power it can do typical approach disc things but putting more behind this disc, it'll glide for a while and finish hard! Got a double-steady as a mystery and loved it, but it seperated so I got a steady to see the similarities, and it's exactly the same which I love. Would highly recommend this disc if you aren't a zone fan!

Feels great as a backhand slightly-overstable approach disc, but it's definitely somewhat less overstable than a zone or harp.

I love this disc. The way plastic that Clash uses on their discs is top notch. I'm not good by any means but this disc is a confidence booster. It will stick on approaches and gives reliable fade.

This disc is one of my favorite discs to throw backhand. This disc doesn't exactly fly like its flight numbers as I would say it has more glide and a little less fade. Throwing this disc on forehand is a little uncomfortable due to the deep rim, but once you get used to it its reliable.

Wow. This disc is just good. The plastic feels durable yet grippy and somewhat firm. I really enjoy it's feel. This disc mold feels great in the hand. It reminds me of an MD3 from Discmania and has a similar flight path. It is stable to over stable and has a great bit of glide to it. If I really torque on it I can get a little bit of flip out of it but it always likes to gradually fight back and finish on the stable end of things.

I also like it for touch forehand shots. It is very workable on lots of angles at slower speeds and is quite forgiving as it has a predictable flight path.

This is a great option for anyone looking for that Zone type disc in their bag. I personally bagged a Zone before I got my mint. The mint has a touch more glide in my opinion, and it has a better backhand release. I never liked the Zone backhand, but the mint is just money for backhand and forehand. The Steady plastic is very grippy and durable also.

This is a great overstable approach disc. It holds up to quite a lot of torque, and fades out pretty hard. It is a great option in the Ruin, Harp, Zone slot of the bag. It has a bit more dome than those other discs, so I could see someone being attracted to this disc based upon the feel. I personally like very flat discs for forehand shots but like there to be some dome for backhand shots. So I could see myself bagging this specifically for backhand, overstable approach shots.

I love the Mint.  Everyone needs that overstable approach disc in their bag, and most people turn to the Zone for that slot.  For me I have never liked how the Zone feels in my hand, so I was left searching for the disc to fill that slot.  The Mint has done that for me.  This disc feels great in my hand for backhands, and I love the feel of the plastic.  I gave it 4 stars though, because I don't like it for forehands.  I just can't seem to get a clean release on it.  It is so good for my backhand though that it will be a staple in my bag.

First off, the Clash Steady plastic feels great, the closest similar feel to me would be MVP's neutron plastic. The profile of the Mint is similar to many popular approach discs, zone/harp ect, however the stability is a bit less. It's still an overstable approach disc but it's no meat hook. It also isn't as resistant to off axis torque as the zone. I would say this is a very usable overstable approach disc with excellent feeling plastic. It will fly straight for a decent portion of the flight before having a nice overstable finish. My mint wasn't perfectly flat, but it had a mostly flat top. It felt comfortable in the hand for both forehand and backhand.

The Clash Discs Mint is a quality stable approach disc. It's flight ratings are the same as a Discraft Zone, but I'd say it's a little bit less overstable than most Zones. It's really similar to the now out of production Dynamic Discs Suspect, which used to be my go to approach disc. The Mint has a nice flat top and a comfortable feel. I love it for both forehand and backhand approach shots and nailed a 100 footer with it earlier today which helps for the high review.  I also like the stability and feel of the Mint for putts into the wind.

If you're looking for a consistent approach disc, and like supporting the newer up and coming brands, I highly recommend trying the Clash Discs Mint.
