The Insanity was Axiom's first distance/control driver. This disc is slightly less stable than the ultra popular MVP Inertia. The Insanity flies like a longer crave, and will provide straight as an arrow flights for intermediate players, and slightly understable turnovers for power players.

As someone who is a fan of cycling discs, the Insanity was my go to fairway when I was throwing an all MVP bag. Cosmic Neutron is slightly stable. Neutron is very straight and Proton can get a little bit of turn. This thing is money if you can get it up to speed!

Love this disc and just got my first Ace with it. Flys very straight with effortless flicks. Not great in higher winds, but a very useful disc for beginner to intermediate players

This is still probably my all-time favorite disc. Depending on release angle and arm speed you can get it to fly any way you really want it to. When I was a beginner it was pretty straight-flying with a subtle fade at the end. Now I can hyzer flip it and get some turn still or slow down the speed a bit and throw it pretty straight. MVP/Axiom is my favorite manufacturer. I love the feel of their discs so if this is a turn-off for you maybe avoid. But otherwise I'd recommend this disc to anyone aside from maybe those very new to the sport.

For reference I have about 325ft of controlled power.

I received mine in the 2022 Gyropalooza box. I really really like the Insanity. Mine came in Cosmic Neutron and was very neutral. I could rip on it flat and it would exhibit a small amount of turn before fading back in center. It holds up decently well to forehands as long as you watch your OAT and other mechanics. As I progress I could easily see me snagging more Insanitys in a few different plastics to cover my other fairway shots. Fantastic pick from Axiom.

As one who grew up through Roadrunners and Sidewinders, this is a disc I've been searching for. I have small hands and this thin, narrow rim allows me to get max torque out of every shot. Throw full power with a smidge of nose up I can hit the 350'+ mark. The Insanity just explodes out of my hand, starts to climb/bank right then fly FOREVER.

Also a great anhyzer disc. Just put a little tilt on it, give it some altitude and rip it. Whatever line you put it on, is what it's going to carry.

Only downside being it's susceptibility to wind. Drive it hard into a decent breeze and it's hyzer-flip city. And once it flips, it ain't coming back.

Overall it's a great beginner to intermediate disc. Very easy to control. But can't say it's for the big-bombers throwing 400'. Will most likely become a high-speed roller

Without a doubt, this is my go-to driver (Forehand). Its turn is always on point and glides just as stated. Feels great holding forehand and super tough plastic. Give it the right send and this thing rips.

I have this disc in the neutron and proton plastic and it is very straight flying in both. Little bit more stable in the proton plastic. For those with lower arm speeds like myself the neutron is an amazing straight flying disc. It has a little bit less turn than the flight numbers would suggest, and I also find that it doesn't have a massive fade at the end either. For me this is my most reliable and farthest disc that I own. would absolutely recommend for anyone looking for a straight flying driver.

This disc has been nothing short of a workhorse for me since I first threw it. Started in the 280-290 ft range and bullet straight, and over a year or so of throwing it has lost a very minor amount of stability. I am not a big arm by any means, but backhand I can get this disc into the 330's on occasion (generally 305-320 ft), and on forehand you get a full flight and up into the 340 ft range. It CAN be a little nose sensitive both FH and BH, but I would say this is a good option for stepping up from mids to a "faster fairway" for most players. I would NOT recommend it immediately for a new player unless they are throwing at least 250ft with a mid. I'd personally suggest the Axiom Insanity first and then this disc.

Definitely one of my favorite discs. I have it in 4 plastics and will probably get it in a 5th just to get the comparisons. Great Hyzer flip disc, throws pretty straight and very forgiving on release. I can consistently get this 300' with ease and control. The turn allows it to be a nice easy hyzer. In this plastic it is the most true to numbers, Proton is a close second, eclipse 2.0 makes it more -1 2, and my plasma is the domiest that flies a little more stable that Cosmic Neutron and Proton but less than Eclipse.

If you are a new player and are in need of forgiving driver while you build your arm speed and form, than this is the disc for you. As a more advance player, this this is amazing for RHBH throws when you need the disc to fly right, stay right, continue to fade right and land right. For those particular shot shapes, this is the disc.

The insanity is truly an epic disc! I throw it primarily for RHBH turnover shots. On anyhyzer the disc will burn right and continue to burn right without any left fade; it truly is a unique and magical disc. I owe a lot of strokes to my disc golf game to my Insanity. I definitely agree that the insanity is a control disc, it handles any angle extremely well with great consistency. I highly recommend you give this Disc a try; I for one will never carry a disc golf bag without one!

I absolutely love this disc! I throw primarily right handed forehand shots, and this gives me a perfect right to left turn when released flat with minimal fade. Great disc for a fast backhand turnover as well. Great plastic, and would highly recommend!
