The Hex is a straight flying midrange, designed to fit into anyone's bag. The 5/5/-1/-1 flight numbers are similar to a Buzzz with additial glide. Axiom takes a classic and gives it the GYRO effect, making a disc that is designed for trusty midrange placement shots without having to worry as much about wind or inconstistent releases. Every MVP/Axiom fan has a Hex in the bag.

One of my favorite Discs in the bag. Very straight flyer and feels great in the hand. My go to when I need need reliability. And it glows so much better than the plastics from other manufacturers i've tried

Reviewing in Eclipse plastic- rock solid midrange. Comfortable. Nice, moderately sized diameter. Good grip. Great durability. Reliable stable to overstable flight. A little more stable than the flight numbers indicate though. I'd say they are 5-4-0-2. Definitely one of the best go to mids out there

This is by far my favorite midrange. With Axiom and MVP, their midranges have a very shallow rim, which is great for players with smaller hands. I bag a shallow rim putter, so this midrange fits well in my bad. The hex is just the midrange that I can trust to fly the way I want it to, whether that hyzer flip, turnovers, dead straight or control shots Highly recommend

This was my favorite disc in my bag until I got a Crave. It pushes far and is very shapeable depending on what line you need to take. I have this in both the neutron and eclipse plastic. The eclipse is more overstable compared to the neutron. I started with an eclipse over a year ago and it had been beat in and was true to flight numbers. When I lost that disc I put my back up eclipse in the bag and it did not fly like the one I had and lost. Still a reliable disc but out of the box does not match the numbers.

You need this disc. Very dependable disc. Holds all lines. The glow plastic is a bit more on the stable side so it does fight a bit of head wind. But once it's beat in it's a beaut.

Have this as the Lizottle and is definitely slightly more overstable than a normal Hex. Still a great disc for all arm speeds as it will hold the line you put it on until the end of flight where it will then fade out slightly. Great for wooded courses and would recommend for everyone.

Words cannot describe how great this midrange is, and how important it is to a well-rouinded bag. Point and shoot, holds any line you want to put it on, and has enough glide to make it as long as many fairway drivers. It's amazing.

Absolutely stellar midrange. Very quickly I am growing a collection of these. They can handle a ton of torque and fly dead straight with a touch of fade at the end. The glide is perfect and allows for some lengthy midrange drives. I like the eclipse glow for the summer months at the neutron plastic for the colder/wetter months

This is a great disc!  I never really liked mid-ranges and thought they just didn't have a space in my bag except for the extremely overstable ones for trouble shots and scrambling.  The Hex has changed my mind completely.  This disc will hold whatever line you throw it on, it is so straight, but will hold a hyzer angle like a champ.  The glide is what sets this disc apart from other straight flying discs.  It just goes and goes and really gives you a shot at those long upshots and tee shots.  Like other reviewers, this disc can be used for FH shots as well without turning over.  Using this disc has really helped me focus on release angles and hitting my lines.  Using this disc for a practice round gives me so much feedback.  Another positive is the eclipse plastic which glows so bright.  Makes night rounds really fun.

Having fun with the Hex so far. Flight numbers are relative but if a Buzzz is 5|4|-1|1 then the Hex seems to be pretty accurate at 1 more glide. It seems to get a bit more distance but maintain similar stability perhaps due to the overmold or combination of that + Fission plastic which purportedly allows them to create a lighter flight plate and add more stability by having a higher percentage of the disc’s weight in the rim. Maybe I’m just drinking the kool-aid but this seemingly increased stability appears to make forehanding it easier, as it seems to handle torque better than you’d assume given the fact that it’s a straight midrange with moderately high glide. I haven’t had my Hex for very long yet but have hit some smooth turnover/touchy forehand lines with it. Seems like a disc that would excel in lighter weights as well and I just bought a 167g to compare it to my max weight. Early days but I think the Hex could be my go-to workhorse mid.

Love this disc - Wasn't quite a fan of how other neutral midranges felt in the hand but the Hex feels perfect.

Eclipse Hex - I have an eclipse hex that I have thrown for a while but will not make the bag. It is a great neutral flier. I can put it on some hyzer and it fill flip up a little bit then fade out at the end. I do think that this one in particular flies more overstable than the flight numbers suggest. It does feel good in the hand, it is very shallow which I like. I know some people say that they throw their's farther than their other midranges, for me that is not the case. It does fly just as far though (in this case around 300 feet). Now your probably thinking "he's said all great things about it so far why does it only have 3.5 stars?" I give it 3.5 stars because I find the flight so frustrating. For 90% of its flight it looks like a bomb like it is going to go as far as a fairway driver, BUT as soon as it starts to slow down, it falls out of the sky. It doesn't push forward or hyzer out it just falls. Some people might like that and I do as well in a neutral putter. But, for my midranges I want foreward fade or a hyzer out rather than falling out of the sky. If it didn't fall out of the sky I would give it a 4 star.
