The Thrasher is a very fast and understable disc. It is important to know that this mold is not flippy, allowing huge distance from slower arms, and yet is still completely big-arm friendly. It will finish on a slow hyzer in most situations, so expect some clean anhyzers out of this disc. This mold is a great choice for most any skilled player

The thrasher is a very fun disc to throw. As a newer backhand dominant player, this disc gave me more confidence with my distance shots. I still use it for flip up shots that I want to finish more straight or I throw it flat with good height and it turns nicely and glides through a full flight. It's really useful for tailwind bombs and turnover shots, so avoid headwinds like the plague. Could probably be a good roller but I don't really throw that shot.

My favorite thing about the thrasher is the rim profile. It doesn't have that big 12+ speed rim, but still seems plenty fast coming out of the hand. For me, that helps it find a spot in my bag since I also throw Wraiths which also have a slightly smaller rim. Imo it's the perfect understable counter-part to the wraith. Both feel very controllable in my hand. My distance drivers rn are 3 wraiths and 2 thrashers and I feel like I can cover a lot of different shots with them.

I have the thrasher in both zflx and tour series Ti plastics. The zflx has more turn out of the hand where as the Ti has a slower and later turn. Given the right amount of height they both have a decent amount of low speed fade. Personally I love my Ti thrasher. It just feels a bit more stable and reliable overall compared to the zflx

I've got 2 Thrashers and they're completely different discs that I love for completely different reasons. One is a Titanium and the other is a Big Z

Titanium: this Thrasher is more overstable than the numbers indicate. Discrafts stability rating for Thrashers is 0.4 but i would rate this one 1.0. It has a very flat profile and it feels great both BH and FH. However this one is my primary FH disc. I can whip this thing out to 300-350 rather effortlessly, and with a standstill flick it will go laser straight for a good 200-250. I don't see quite the Turn as the rating suggests but there is still turn.

Big Z: I just recently found this one in a cornfield and like i said its a totally different disc than my Titanium. This is my big anhyzer and hyzerflip disc. The stability of 0.4 is accurate with this plastic as is the turn rating. This version is domey compared to my flat Titanium and floats better. I have to put a pretty steep hyzer angle on it and power down, but with the right technique this is often my farthest flying disc. The anhyzers are what I like it most for.

I would recommend this disc to just about anyone. It's one of my favorite molds and i love throwing it. I'll often throw them both after my initial drive off any given tee simply because I love throwing it. Get a Titanium if you want more stability, get a Big Z if you want something flippier.

Nice high speed driver that is pretty neutral for non-pros. The one currently in my bag (Z FLX) is pretty stable. When thrown with a hyzer it finishes pretty well left (RHBH). When thrown flat it has some turn and finishes fairly straight. My least stable Thrasher was a swirly ESP, and I didn't like that one.

I don't like them for forehand. If I throw them too fast they flip too easily and become unpredictable. I have much much better experiences forehanding Valkyries compared to Thrashers.

This Z Flx is going to be the most stable of the Thrashers. Or that I’ve found. It’ll have a small turn but really a good flat disc for me. A great investment for someone starting out to hyzerflip or a good hyzer shot.

I happened across a First Run Thrasher in the woods awhile back and decided to give it a couple field throws before placing it on the collector's wall. It's a great feeling disc with a very manageable flight. I doubt that it would ever make it into my bag as a regular thrower, but I must say that the disc intrigued me and was fun to rip out. I threw it on a high school football field from the left corner of the end zone and could land it, repeatedly, in the right corner of the far end zone. It was a great disc for shots that needed to turn right and hold a line. Give it a go if you're looking to fill that slot in your bag, but don't expect it to play well in many other situations.
