The Thrasher is a very fast and understable disc. It is important to know that this mold is not flippy, allowing huge distance from slower arms, and yet is still completely big-arm friendly. It will finish on a slow hyzer in most situations, so expect some clean anhyzers out of this disc. This mold is a great choice for most any skilled player

ESP GLO Details

Discraft ESP GLO plastic is a unique fundraiser and special edition blend that combines Discraft's popular ESP plastic with a Glow-in-the-Dark additive. Some colors definitely glow more than others, but many players like the feel of glow plastic, whether or not they are using it at night or not.

(Note: Not all colors glow the same -- darker colors tend not to glow, even with glow-in-the-dark additive.)

My Flight Ratings: 11/5/-2/2 Not Beginner Friendly Throwing Distance: N/A Straight Score: N/A

I don't have a massive arm, especially when it comes to distance drivers (working on fixing nose up issues), and have been searching for a go-to distance driver for my arm speed for a while. I think this might be it. I've tried a lot of speed 12-13 understable discs - Daedalus, Tern, DDx, X4, and X5. Ive gotten good throws with each, but they tend to be finnicky and nose angle sensitive. I'm also not much for shallow or large rims.

The Thrasher feels very close to a wraith, there's a good amount of depth to the rim but is quite shallow for a distance driver. It has a small bead thingey which I don't care for but isn't a game changer, you might not notice it. I've taken mine to pavement which has helped. The Esp glow plastic feels close to z plastic out of the box. After some wear it has become slightly more grippy and flexible, which is similar to what happens with big z plastic; if after more time this feels like worn in big z, I will be very happy. This plastic is not like normal esp, in a good way in my opinion; it is much more durable. The plastic glows, but not that well.

Flight wise it starts out fairly stable. It takes a good rip to get any turn. After a few rounds the turn starts to show, and steadies for me at a -2 turn. Very controllable, definitely not a disc that will turn and burn for a guy with a medium armspeed. Its flight really reminds me of a Beast or Valk, just faster and longer. It is not nearly as nose angle sensitive as a Tern or Daedalus, and is not as flippy. This disc handles low lines from flat or hyzerflip really well, which I really like. On an anhyzer it will hold the line for a long way and often won't flex out, even when thrown with less power. This disc could be a fantastic roller. In a headwind it performs as expected - turn and burn.

I'd say this is Discrafts version of a champ Tern, and is much more consistent, less affected by nose angle, and is a  more controllable disc in my opinion.
