Shogun, the first ever beaded putter available in Active Line. Designed to withstand a good amount of power, this deep putter provides a comfortable ergonomic feel and reliable flight when thrown off the tee and for putt/approach. The Shogun will provide relatively straight flight patterns with very minimal low speed fade, allowing it to withstand moderate wind resistance with point-and-shoot accuracy. The Active plastic is the perfect balance between keeping the disc firm, as well as soft to the touch, meaning the disc always feels comfortable and natural in the hand.

Got this in a Infinite mystery box and decided to give it a shot. I've been using DD Judges (2 years) so I prefer a beaded putter. Immediately could tell this is a deeper disc. Not by much, in fact it felt more comfy. It has more glide than the Judge which is rated a 2,4,0,1 but has the same fade. This disc has so much glide hat it has changed my putting game. Before I was hitting top of the basket, but now it's all chains. I don't putt hard so for me it's perfect. So far the active plastic is grippy and durable in all conditions.

I love discmania & couldn't find a putter I could really lean on. I search no more. I don't really  throw this disc much for upshots, as it is purely a putter for me, and a fantastic one at that. The grip is true and has the more consistent releases out of hand in any weather. Specifically, when it drops below 70 degrees and my hands dry/seize up, this bad boy is just grippy enough to find that perfect sweet spot when holding.

    6/5 stars.

One of the more expensive putters that I own, but I do enjoy the hard plastic and flight.

I just picked two Shoguns up in Active Baseline plastic. When I first held them I liked the mold of the disc with the bead but wasn't sure how I was going to feel about the feel of the plastic. After using them for a week or so the feel of the plastic grew on me. I had previously used Aviar Yeti Pros for years which I still love, the Shogun even reminds me of the disc slightly, it just has more fade and is a little deeper. Overall I would definitely recommend this disc.

Throwing Active Baseline plastic at 4,400 ft in Utah. To me, 5 stars = incredible disc 4 stars = good & dependable disc. I don't give out too many 5 star ratings.

This is a solid putter. The bead on it is not the most pronounced, the depth of the putter is not incredibly deep but a comfortable level. I tend to like the shallower putters. The rim on this is quite rounded and comfortable. I don't really like gripping this in my forehand grip.  Overall, this thing feels good in my hands.

I find that this to be a fairly stable putter. Putting with this is pretty good. Maybe a little bit too stable for my preferred putting style. It has a little too much fade for me. But, throwing this is great. Its a little off from a being perfectly straight hyzer flip thrown.Overall this is a solid putter. If you want something that is a touch overstable, this may be it for you.

This thing feels great in the hand. Whatever they're doing with these active line plastics is truly next level. Very grippy and sticky like you'd want a putter to be but also firm. It feels slightly less bulky than a P2 and slightly more floaty and straight than one. Need more time on the course with it but initial impressions are amazing.

The Discmania Shogun is a fantastic putter. This is a deep dish putter with a big bead. It is identical to the Yikun Xing and really similar to the Latitude 64 Dagger. I am very confident in this disc for putting and it works well for approach shots too if you like the nice deep rim and bulky feel.

In my opinion, the Yikun Active Line plastic is among the best putter plastics in all of disc golf. IT is ultra tacky, yet still has adequate firmness. It is low priced but still moderately durable, especially on blunt putters like the Shogun. I consider the feel of the Active line plastic more of a mid grade blend than a DX or base blend.

In terms of flight, the Shogun is really straight with good glide. I would not give this disc a fade rating of 2.

If you're a Discmania fan who likes a nice deep beaded putter, you're going to like the Shogun.
