The Tian Shi by Yikun Discs is a flat-topped mid-range approach disc with a shallow profile, designed for very comfortable grip and release for short-range shots that need to hold the line before a predictable end-fade.

    Inner Colour Details

Inner Colour is a very tacky, grippy plastic blend that is loaded with specks and splotches of different colors. It visually stands out on the course as well as providing quality performance in adverse weather conditions.

At first glance this is another Zone clone, but I say it's actually slightly shallower. The Inner Color plastic is like a modestly durable Jawbreaker consistency that has become my all time favorite for putting and approach discs. The disc flight is everything i want in an approach that just feels better than a zone for me. My only gripe with this particular mold was the lack of a premium plastic version, but Yikun has delivered! Hopefully Infinite gets some of the new Neon plastic versions in soon because they're even better than the Inner Color ones!

The Inner Colour Tian Shi is absolutely beautiful! I love the look of it. It's flight is often Zone-like, but the grippy/tacky feel makes it hard for me to consistently and comfortably throw it. In general, the tacky plastic feels really nice. However, on a powergrip, it feels weird to me on my fingertips where it rests between the rim and bottom.

*NOTE* I only give 5-stars out to discs that I bag and throw actively. A 4-star disc is great. It may come in and out of the bag for me and I can see another player actively bagging it.

This is another Zone Clone, but it's actually good?!?

Overall: This may stick in the bag for a little while as I think the plastic looks sick and it feels great in the hand. The flight is reliable and something I can trust. I would love to see this in a more premium blend of plastic.

The Tian Shi is an excellent driving and approach disc. Very much a 4/3/0/3 out of the box, at full power I was getting a fairly straight to overstable flight. After a few tree and rock hits it straightened out and gave me a little flip, and little fade. I've got more power than most, so for lower arm speeds, I can see this holing it's integrity for a long time.

At lower power was where this disc was really shining. I am a sucker for OS putt and approach discs in grippy base plastics. I love myself a Exo Soft Tactic. The Inner Colour plastic was right up in terms of tackiness and gumminess and reminds me most of Prodigy 300 plastic, or Dyanic Discs Classic, or Innova Nexus. For those unfamiliar with either of those, it's a nice medium stiffness with a good amount of grip, while still being fairly durable.
