This stable distance driver is an excellent introductory disc for players moving from lower-speed drivers to higher speed distance drivers. It has a good dome to it and a comfortable rim, providing a comfortable disc that can be thrown with confidence. Flying through the air it'll provide high glide, high-speed turn, and a good fade at the end.

I did field work with this along with seven other drivers with same glide/turn/fade numbers (just a range of different speeds), and for the disc I have at least, the numbers seemed roughly right except it was more stable than expected compared to, say, the Aztec (identical numbers). I think I'd take out the -1 Turn and make it 0. I experienced the same with its 11-speed (but otherwise identical) sibling the Jun, but not really with its 9-speed (but otherwise identical) sibling the Bi. The Long is too overstable for beginners, but in general is a good disc and gives a consistent flight, it's just not quite how it's billed, and gets slightly outclassed by similar discs (including its slower sibling the Bi). As a 10 speed with -1 turn & 2 fade, I'd expect it to go farther before fading than a would a 12-speed with same glide/turn and a higher fade -- meaning my Destroyer -- but that's not the case. It fades out left quite a bit sooner. For my arm speed, the overstability of the Long might make it a good choice with stiffer headwinds, but otherwise will likely take a back seat to other choices. I do really like the Phoenix line plastic (similar to Champion grade): I have several other Yikun discs in this grade, and it has a good feel and releases cleanly, and I appreciate the durability.

I bought this disc when it came out because it seemed like a glidier, more stable version of the Beast. I got it in Phoenix Line because it is supposedly similar to Champion, and it lived up to my expectation. I am very happy with this disc! I throw it on backhand flex shots, and it just keeps going! I parked a hole at a local course with this disc that I have never been able to get anywhere near the pin on! My previous best drive on the hole was just outside circle 2, but with this disc I managed to get under the basket! I was pleasantly surprised by my first experience with Yikun discs, the quality is greater than I expected! I am now purchasing more of these in Nature Line and Dragon Line. Thanks Infinite Discs for making Yikun Discs the target of the Focus Friday's sale, I wouldn't have gotten one if they hadn't!
