The Ling is an understable putter that features a textured portion on the face plate. With a shallow rim and a blunt nose, this disc provides a comfortable grip for smaller and medium-sized hands. It is also an easy-to-throw disc, which works excellently as a first putter or as a disc to use in order to learn how to control a disc's angle.

Very flippy. So much so that it's difficult to call it useful outside of scrambling in the woods or for circus shots. Pretty much guaranteed to turn and/or roll at 150ft of power.

I'd recommend this for A) people with extremely slow arm speeds, B) people who can't forehand but want 100-150ft RHBH approaches to go right, C) brand new players to mess around with.

Pros: Tiger plastic feels great, textured grip on the top, fun & unique flight, dirt cheap

Cons: Super flippy and not terribly useful

The flight numbers seem pretty accurate to me, though maybe the fade was less than a full 1. I really like it for plain putting as its understability seems to be just enough to keep it on target for me where my traditional putters would too often seem to fade out just before it could hit the chains. :  /   As for throwing it, within reasonable distances it can still work for pretty straight throws, or if you increase the hyzer angle as you increase the power of the throw, it can continue to act so; however, it gets increasingly tricky to control the understability the farther you try to throw this, and into a good wind it is hard to get anything but a roller from it -- although that can be very useful, of course. I threw it far downfield a couple of times when the wind popped it way up in the air, but I was pleased to see how it didn't careen off to one side or the other as it faded out: it just sort of dropped nearly straight down (it could have been moving forward still, too, I just couldn't tell from that distance & angle). Nice to have a disc stay on target like that when most will veer way off one way or the other once they get popped up high like that. I like the shape and feel of the disc, including the textured sections on top where you can opt to grip there or onto the smoother sections as you choose. I am more a fan of Yikun's Phoenix plastic and for the sake of durability would like the option of getting a Ling in the higher-grade plastic so it will last longer. If this Tiger line version gets beat in and becomes even more understable than it already is, it might make the Ling almost unusable (I've had that happen with other discs).

This putter holds very true to its flight numbers. This is a great understable putter at all levels. Given enough spin, this disc will hold the turn for its entire flight.

This disc has a slightly boxy feel to its rim. It's a nice medium depth and feels great in the hand, especially for a fan or semi fan grip.

This is a strange disc! I bought it because of the unique texture on the rim and the color ways. Its an ok throwing putter, turns right pretty quickly. Its a pretty straight putting putter, lazer beams from circle 2. The only reason I am keeping this disc in my bag temporarily is because it made for a great roller disc! Rolls for days (~350ft for me) with a pretty consistent roll.
