The Gui is a beadless overstable putter with a flat top, deep rim, and unique slip-resistant grip plates on the bottom flight plate. This is a very comfortable putt & approach disc that is very similar to the Discmania Tiger Warrior.

This is my first time trying a disc in Soflex plastic -- or anything less than 149g. I've seen a couple instances on YouTube where someone rolled a putter up into a ball and threw it at the basket, and this might just be one of those discs you could do that with, it's so light and flexible. For putting, the numbers may be about right, though I'd say it has more glide at this weight (114-116g), and it seems to work quite well: In fact trying it out using my indoor practice basket, I actually haven't missed with it yet (and I'm not the best at putting). It's perfectly grippy and is very easy to toss lightly and have it stay up, floating effortlessly to the basket. Live by the sword, die by the sword, though: It is much less likely to just drop short like all too many putts/putters, but by the same token, if you're off the mark, it might just sail a good deal farther past the basket than you'd want. Also, being so light, beware the wind when you throw this thing!

As for a throwing putter, again, beware the wind, but also the force you put on this. If it's thrown as a 2-speed, you'll be fine, but if you're trying to get a lot of distance, I think the Turn/Fade numbers fly right out the window and you may want a more stable disc. Throwing this for distance in an open field along with a dozen other different putters, I got rather remarkable distance with it (partly due to wind), but the light weight and very flexible nature of this plastic turned it ridiculously understable -- more like a -3 Turn and 0.5 Fade, unless it was all the wind each time. I've had understable drivers occasionally end up out of the practice field and into a couple back yards, but until this Soflex Gui, I hadn't had a putter go far enough forward and off to the right to land in those same yards.
