I got one of these when I researched  "good disc to learn forehand with." And it has met expectations. I resisted throwing FH for years and finally realized my game is not complete without it. Problem was I couldn't throw any of my discs FH for sh**. But this one has been very patient and forgiving. I still throw the occasional crappy FH shot (you know what I mean: with way too much angle and it hits the ground after about 40 feet and rolls 250--in the wrong direction), but this disc is more foregiving when I do. I would definitely recommend it for FH. I use it occasionally BH and I should say that when thrown thrown either way it holds a good straight line with reliable, moderate to slight fade. I like it so much I'll probably get another, maybe in fancier plastic. If you get it on my recommendation, let me know how it goes for you. Disc on!

I picked up two of these (along with some others of other kinds) during the recent Yikun sale in order to have some simple 2-disc starter sets on hand to introduce small groups of work & church friends to disc golf. I spent an afternoon testing them out, throwing them all straight and level initially to see just how over-/understable they would fly. The other fairway driver type I got didn't really seem to match its flight numbers, but the Fu did: It had pretty straight drives with reliable fade at the end, and with a tailwind it was getting almost as much straight-forward distance as the distance drivers I was throwing, and a more subdued final skip left. With my experience so far with other Tiger plastic discs, I hope these don't get banged up too much too soon. They should make for good beginner discs, with maybe a bit of challenge for them to work up to. I did notice that the Fu (and the other type of fairway driver I picked up) had a rather sharp/rough edge underneath that made throwing a bit uncomfortable, and eventually left a small flap of sliced skin on my middle finger. Not sure if that's standard, or just how that particular run turned out.
