This disc is very overstable. Much more overstable than a Zone. Not Baobab overstable, but like a slightly slower Pinnacle Recluse or a 400 A1. I've found that in the Lava plastic it will beat in slowly but surely into something that flies closer to a Zone, but still a little more stable. If you're looking for an overstable approach disc, this is a fantastic option. The Lava plastic feels great and there's not much it compares to, so you just have to try it for yourself. It takes dye very well.

This is one of the beefiest discs I've ever thrown. I've heard it compared to a zone, but I think it's not close. I'd say it's closer to a A3 from Prodigy. The Angler is incredibly reliable in that it wants to fade hard. The Angler feels like it will really fight a headwind. The stamp looks great and the plastic feels great, as with all Wild Discs I've thrown. Definitely recommend checking this one out if you're looking for something beefier than your zone.

I am in love with this disc. this is exactly what I'm looking for in an overstable approach/mid. The 'sharper' wing makes it feel like a mid, but its flight and reliability are pushing out my Entropy and beating out a Zone, Loki, Quake, etc. This disc will reliably dump out where you expect it after a few test throws, and the Lava plastic is in that sweet spot where it's grippy without being sticky while having zero fear of trees. The shape of the wing feels perfect in my hand, and I trust my release with this in both backhand and forehand approaches. It's slightly domey but just feels right in the hand.

I was only surprised that Infinite lists this as beadless, where I feel it has a hefty, but smooth, bead. You can see it on the right side of the below image. But I don't feel it on release the way I do with a Roc3 for instance. Just a buttery smooth overstable approach/mid hybrid.
