The Tursas is an excellent understable mid-range disc. I use mine for woods up shots and off the tee were you need that low ceiling flat release shot you know is going to anhyzer smooth and not fight to flat on you. This is also a good disc for teaching younger beginners the game with.

If you are a beginner this is the disc for you. Back when I couldn't keep a disc from going heavy left, this was the only disc that I could find that would go straight for me. The tournament plastic is a great feel, but be weary because it does break in rather fast, and once broken it too much, it will flip over very easily. Overall for advanced players this may be a bit too flippy, but for beginners it will do wonders for you.

This is a great specialty midrange. Very flippy, but in a good way. I use it for powered down tunnel shots, that I still need to flip! Since I stink at flicks.

Comfortable in the hand, goes well with the Warrant / Evidence/ Truth / Verdict line.

Good for anny's, tailwinds, hyzer flips and tunnel shots. Beginner friendly. Backup putter if needed.

Worth trying one out if you are looking for an understable utility disc.

Great understable mid. Very controllable and perfect for touch approaches or other technical shots. I went with Tournament plastic for the better feel. I don't see it leaving my bag anytime soon.

I love the tursas. Mine is a 176g in Tournament plastic. With alittle hyzer and a good flick, I get predictable flat lines with dead point accuracy most of the time with this beast from the depths. And it loooooves to fly. Really.

Last week I made a 120ft birdy with mine in a 15mph crosswind. I was aiming for the ground in front of the basket and my Tursas just kept aloft and went right in. So unexpected and very satisfying!

The tursas has alot of glide. I love it. For par threes I can use it as my driver and get inside the circle most of the time. I can get it to do so much with very little coaxing. And its very forgiving.

The Ratings on the Tursas are accurate for the most part.

If you like the Titanium Buzzz SS by Discraft, you will LOVE the Tursas in Tournament plastic.

I guess the lighter weights will fly different so buy a heavier one-like 176-178.

    But seriously.

    Buy one.

    You will be stoked.

The Tursas is an excellent beginners midrange. It has a good amount of glide and is very understable. These qualities will help with new player's tendency to throw high and stall discs.

The Tursas is a good understable mid for lower arm speeds but becomes too understable and unreliable at higher arm speeds. Until you get to the point that you need a more stable disc for this slot you can't do much better than the Tursas.

One of if not the first disc a beginner should buy. Very understable. Rec players should be able to hold an anhyzer with this disc.  I don't see this being in an int/adv player's bag, I think most would just find it too understable.  Perfect for those with under 300 foot power.

This is one of my favorite mids for rollers and tight wooded shots.  Thrown with a hyzer it will flip flat and end straight when new.  As it seasons it will go more and more right.  I've had mine for about a year now and with a hyzer release, it flips over and pans out right.  It feels amazing in the hand and the Tournament plastic is durable and grippy.  It can get a little slick when wet but not too bad.

If you need a mid-range disc that you can hyzerflip down a tunnel and have it fly laser straight, this is a great choice.  It's very good for turnover shots, as well, which makes it particularly well-suited for players who don't have a good forehand stroke.

I have a tursas in Tournament plastic. While some might call this a beginner disc, and it is beginner friendly. For the advanced player this disc has a very specific nitch. Huge Anny lines. You put this thing on an anny and it will hold it beautifully and glide like nobodies business. It has driver distance because of its glide. Also throw it on a slight hyzer and it will go laser straight forever. Takes some getting used to but saved me many strokes in a tourney last weekend and everyone was asking about it. I prefer it to the fuse which is even more understable.

I have yet to figure this disc out. I really hope it's a lack of field work and experience with it, but on the majority of shots I try with this disc on the course it ends up disappointing me. I usually end up throwing an anhyzer with my Buzzz, yielding much better results. That being said, I'm not giving up on this disc. It receives high praise wherever I read about it and I'm convinced it is the understable mid that I've been looking for, but right now it's just too unreliable for me to throw often on the course. Hopefully some day soon I can edit this with a more favorable review, once I get the hang of it.

I picked one up in hopes of finding a flatter fuse an us mid. Very similar flights but this has a lower/flatter feel for me Iin hand. This disc can get turned over with too much power. But dialed down is a dependable turnover disc. Love it for anyyhing finishing rt (rhbh). Also can be hyzerflipped on shorter tunnel shots and depending on power have st or even late finish to the rt  great midrange/begginer teaching disc.

If you need that understable mid this is it! The Tursas is really a fun disc to throw as well as its comfort in your hand prior to throwing it. I've played for 4 years and cannot think of a disc I have truly enjoyed throwing as much as the Tursas.

My Tursas is Light Blue, Tournament, 176 grams. This disc has a pretty small diameter for a mid-range, but don't let that fool you. On an anhyzer release, this disc goes right and further right. On a flat release, it turns quite a bit before falling slightly left. On a hyzer release, it flips up, goes straight, and glides for a really long time.

This is a fantastic driving mid-range for players with less arm power. In comparison with the MVP Tangent, this disc is faster, has more glide, turns more, and fades more. However, the only uses I see for this disc are hyzer-flip drives and escape shots. This disc is very sensitive to the amount of power and is very tough to control on touch shots. I would suggest this as a first mid-range for beginners.
