Vibram X-Link Medium Notch

Vibram X-Link Medium Notch

The Vibram Notch is a massively overstable fairway driver. Vibram describes the Notch like this,

"It can handle tons of power, laughs at winds, and still gives a good amount of glide. A comfortable grip provides a consistent release making this one of our most reliable discs. The Notch is the disc with a strong flight and heavy fade you crave. Take the O-Lace and Solace, marry them, and give them a small winged child - that's the Notch."

Cool brand, cool plastic, objectively bad disc

Beginners Review: This disc came in the mail as a "Mystery Disc" option and so far I have not been able to figure it out. It is similar to the Teebird for me but this XL Medium plastic is not something I recommend. If you enjoy gummier plastic then you might enjoy it. If not; go for the firmer plastics : )

I have the notch, arch, and valley. The Arch and Notch are very similar but the notch is a hair more stable. I think it's a good consistent flying disc. More glide and much less fade than advertised though.

The Vibram Notch is the overstable complement to the Arch. It is supposed to be a 'notch' more overstable than the Ascent, which was Vibram's first attempt at an overstable fairway driver. The Notch accomplised this goal. My flight ratings are 8 3 0 3, because the Notch requires a good deal of power (54 mph), more so than most speed 7 drivers to fly.
