The Votum is an odd disc in a difficult slot for me to remain consistent in. Starting with the hand feel, the Votum is spectacular when compared to the robust competition it has. When thrown, the 2023 James Proctor run of Votum will flip and turn before fading. The numbering of the Votum, at least in the tour series discs I've thrown seems far off the established baseline, flying closer to a Teebird or Exodus rather than the Eagle or F2 it purports to be. All in all, the Votum is a disc that I've kept in my bag, but am presently looking for alternatives to. Is that a result of my inability to commit to this shot in particular? Perhaps. I've enjoyed the Votum but it has unfortunately come with an expiration date until I can get my next itch scratched in the slightly overstable fairway driver slot.
