Ethos is TSA’s translucent, highly durable plastic with a firmer feel and strong resistance to wear. Ethos runs are commonly the most stable option within a mold and maintain their flight characteristics longer than Aura-based blends.

The Thoughtspace Athletics Synapse in Ethos plastic is my workhorse driver for forehand drives. My backhand game is something that I am currently building up so I cannot speak to its flight on a backhand shot.

If you are interested in a new disc to fill your Destroyer slot, don't sleep on TSA's Synapse! Don't expect a pop top as this disc has a flat top which really helps neutralize off-axis torque when releasing forehand. Good straight flyer with a consistent fade on the finish. If you really power into it, you can get some nice S bend shapes out of it. Also enjoy putting it up a little higher on a forehand flex shot and letting the fade bring the disc back to finish right.

Ethos plastic durability is super high quality and feels amazing in the hand. If you haven't yet gotten into TSA's disc lineup-- what are you waiting for!? Give the synapse a shot!

If you want a Destroyer clone 12/5/-1/3 distance bomber, this is not it. Very overstable and not glidey at all. Does fit some uses on windy days and such if you consider it a power fairway/control driver.

I got one of these as a mystery disc in a recent order in the Ethos plastic. This disc flies exactly as the flight path shows. I threw this on a few backhands, but I was especially surprised by the forehand flight. Flies straight for most of the way and fades at the end, went about 350 for me. I'm very interested to see how it beats in.

Wow... first throw of hole 1 in front of a bunch of people waiting and ZOOM this flew amazing on a forehand rip which isn't my strong suit. Easily went 340 and went really fast with normal power. I also have it in Aura which seems to be more stable and flatter vs the ethos. I have an ethereal as well but haven't tried that yet. I have heard the Ethos is the least stable of the bunch... which ALL are still very stable. So far its really nice and I am excited to see what it can do after several rounds. Also DUH, the artwork is amazing.
