The Streamline Turbulence is an overstable fairway driver built for controlled, confident throws. It features a purposefully concave flight plate, similar to the Range, which gives the disc a comfortable feel in the hand and contributes to reduced glide and increased torque resistance. This design helps the disc handle power cleanly, with minimal skip and reliable fade. The Turbulence excels at forehands, spike hyzers, and low-skip landings, making it a useful tool for shaping precise lines with control.

This might just be my favourite disc of the year! It feels amazing in the hand, both for the backhand and forehand, but also for thumbers! While it is a fairway, I'd still say this is the perfect approach disc. And I have no doubts that it's due to the glide reducing flightplate. And yes, it is most certainly an overstable disc, but nothing too extreme. This just means that it will be perfect for flex anhyzer lines in the woods, but also for those zone like approaches. For me, this disc is pure perfection and I hope they experiment more with the glide reducing flightplate/intentional puddle-top/thumbtrack (or whatever you wanna call it).

I liked this disc a lot but it was not what I expected.  I expected a slightly faster, lower glide, Resistor... but this does not fade as hard as a fresh Resistor and I didn't experience the lack of glide.  It was also not what I hoped it would be... a baby Rask.  I would compare it to EXPs with a thinner/flatter/better hand feel.  It can replace Resistors in my bag though and even get used more often. That is because I can more easily backhand the Turbulence (but only forehand Resistors) and it can delete a super OS mid from my bag.  Powered down the Turbulence can do everything a super OS mid can do... with less arm fatigue.  Note that I do not getalong well with mids in general and that is one reason I throw low speed OS fairways and OG Kaxes.

So I'm currently in my 2nd year of disc golf.  Never was able to develop a backhand that works the way it should, so I switched to forehand late my 1st year.  I was throwing maybe 250, on my best distance discs, to start and started achieving 350-375 with distance Drivers like the Venom this year.  This disc for me works great, I'm able to get a consistent 250-300 depending on how hard I throw.   The disc has dump fades hard at the end of its flight.  With open air space I can get a good S curve thrown on anhyzer forehand.  Great grip feel with the style of disc.

I am still getting reps with this as a utility approach disc, but I think the best use I've found so far is for forehand rollers. You can throw this thing on a vertical tomahawk and it will not budge an inch, landing and going straight for a long time before drifting left. Will absolutely use this to get easy distance or on scrambles.

TLDR: While the flight is a good flight, I just don't see a 7-speed like this working it's way into masses. I'm sure there's someone out there that likes this disc... but no one that I've thrown this with was in love with it. Reminds me a lot of the Innova Banshee. but more OS.

The flight for the Turbulence is a 7-speed Firebird, Cpt. Raptor, Scepter, Monster (for the cool folks) etc.  The flight is good and there are a lot of versatile shot shapes that you can get out of this disc. Personally, I just don't see the flight of this disc being terrilby useful. If I want something that's gonna fade like this, then I generally want something that's gonna fade and I find myself trusting something faster, like a Firebird or  Cap Rap. The Turby also isn't glidey enough to be a workhorse 7 speed like a Teebird or Eagle or even like a Crave or Servo. I don't see it beating itself into that super straight Teebird that has a bit of flip-up.

The handfeel could also be a bit goofy for some people. Personally, didn't affect me much for backhand or forehand. I think the 'anti-dome' makes this mold less glidey, but I don't think that this helps out in this case. My buddy couldn't get a nose down release on his forehand and we're 99% sure it was because of the anti-dome. He had his regular bag on him and tossed his normal discs and just couldn't get the Turby to be nose down. My forehand is naturally slightly nose-up anyways, but could be some food for thought.

I'm always a fan of thinking outside the box attempting something new, but there's a reason that really OS, low glide, 7 speeds don't exist. They just fit into a unqiue slot for most people. Maybe a short range overhand disc?

Very interesting disc. Has no turn regardless of how hard thrown. Fights out of anny quickly and then slowly fades. I was surprised how slowly it got to the ground given the low glide numbers and shape. Best description is probably a low glide teebird or slow Sexton firebird.

For thumbers, it really shines. Has a great hand feel and pans for an incredible amount of time. It added about 50' onto my thumber compared to my usual 9 speed overstable thumber (Fireball). Was really impressed with it for this.

Really good disc. Picked up the turbulence today and it flies really nice. A stable 7-speed that doesn't have too much glide. If you give it anhyzer, it will hold for a bit and fade out nicely.
