Streamline’s first midrange is the Runway, releasing in Neutron Plastic. The Runway is an overstable midrange that can take powerful throws with accuracy. In heavy winds, this midrange will hold straight lines with a strong finishing fade. Power throwers will find that no turnover is too much for the Runway to overcome. The Runway offers more glide than the MVP Deflector due to its less aggressive fade at the end of flight. Debuting with Streamline’s stock triple-foil stamp and premium Neutron plastic, the Runway will keep its stability while gradually breaking in to a trusted stable midrange round after round.

This is one of my favorite midranges. Whenever I need to pull out a shot that hooks hard after 100-150 ft, this is the midrange I choose. More powerful arms than me can probably get this to ride out for longer, but for me it throws like a dream. This disc flies pretty much how the numbers say, just keep in mind that it flies dead straight until it drops to a certain speed and fades, there is no gradual fade on this disc.

The Runway is an excellent OS mid, full stop. This is a disc that is dependable in windy conditions, forehand, flex shots, skips, and long pushing shots with good fade. If I need to get left within 250 ft., this is the disc. To say all that might make it sound like a one trick pony; it's not! This is a disc that can be pushed out on wide lines, or straight for shorter distances before the dependable fade.

If you need a mid that is reliably overstable, but workable that is a disc you should strongly consider trying.

    100% BEEF!!!

I was actually hoping this disc would be a little bit less beefy. Closer to a DD Verdict but maybe a tad more fade. Not sure if I got a freak or what but mine is like a DD Justice from my handful of throws thus far.

I did notice they have two different flight numbers as well so I am not sure if they tweaked the mold. Some people are saying it flies like a beefier Buzzz but mine is like a beefier Zone.

For mine I would say 5/2/0/4.

First off I'll start by saying that I never threw overstable mids until I threw this disc. The runway flys just like my sexton firebirds or DD felons except 30-40 feet shorter. I use this disc for forehand holes under 250 feet. The runway feels very good in a forehand grip and the plastic is some of the best feeling on the market. If you are looking for a straight to stable forehand disc with good glide try this disc out you'll love it. If it helps I don't throw these in max weight. 170-175 is just fine.

The Runway is a good, somewhat overstable mid range. It certainly is not as overstable as you'd expect, so if you want mega beef, you will want to go elsewhere.
Overall, I really enjoyed throwing the Runway and would recommend it if you're looking for something in the stability vein of a Roc3 or Malta; It has almost the exact same shape and feel as a RocX3.
It does not handle a FH well (I have good power, but I do not rotate my wrist, so it is the disc) and can't be thrown full power or on a flex line. I ended up moving to the Pyro, as it was simultaneously more stable and got more distance. For a touchy BH flex/approach disc, it worked well, I just did not find it reliable enough.

Great mid-range with a very reliable fade. The disc has no desire to flip up and always gets left at the end of flight. if the shot is 200-230ft and i have all the room in the world on my right this is the disc that I will throw 100% of the time.

As my arm speed increases and my fairways and distance drivers start carrying past the baskets more often I find myself relaying on this disc more and more to reliably and accurately hit short shots. Flies true to numbers every single time. Neutron plastic is one of my favorites. Getting used to throwing it forearm was a bit tricky at first.

I had spent some time trying to find the perfect overstable mid, and this thing absolutely delivered.  It has a great feel in hand, the Neutron SL plastic is firm with just the right amount of tackiness, and when you release the Runway it is so dependable.  Flies straight with a nice hard fade... every single time.  My accuracy has gone way up just because I know what this thing is going to do every time.  Would highly recommend.

My new favorite and most used mid range. It's flies like a justice with a lot more glide. It is slightly more stable than my Lucid X EMac Truths. I can also liken it to the midrange version of a super stable Eclipse Envy or stabilizer. Great for power shots, flexes, and big hyzers. That being said, this is not the most beginner friendly midrange.  For reference: I use my mids out for shots 275-350 depending on the line.

Like many others I too bought this to get something with a little less fade than the deflector.

I bag an entropy for driving and putting and I find this disc too similar to the entropy. Just like the numbers say, it is a little further and maybe has a little less fade but it is barely different. It is much softer than the deflector but still very usable forehand and backhand. I prefer the entropy but could sub this in.

Have not tried a pyro, and am looking forward to comparing.

I recently got this disc without knowing the numbers on it.  It was such a beautiful disc and the NEUTRON plastic is great I had to snatch it up. After reading the numbers and a little research on the disc mixed with my semi-weak throw I expected this disc to fade hard left as soon as I threw it. I was very surprised when I actually threw it, the disc went laser straight for about 200' then faded left. I will agree that this disc has very little glide, I guess that can be good or bad depending on the shot. I threw it several more times and got the same results each time deciding that I like this disc a lot. It seemed to accept my forearm throw nicely, it held a nice line and was very accurate. The RUNWAY  is a great disc for what it does, it's not a "do-all" disc.  Get ya one and try it!

This is a great disc for what it does. It looks great and feel great in the hand. It is a super overstable disc that has a flat top and doesn't turn over at all.

I have a mixed bag, but the majority of the discs are MVP/Streamline/Axiom at the moment. Every time I buy or pick up a new discs from these three companies, I like it right away. This fills the spot for an overstable mid-range very well in my opinion and has been replacing the zone i have had for a little bit.

I came across this disc as a coincidence and it filled a huge hole in my bag.  I really like Prodigy midranges but their most stable midrange is the M1 and it's not quite overstable enough to hit the sweet spot for "most overstable midrange".  I also throw Zones for little utility flick shots but even the Zone is a little too slow and straight sometimes.

This disc does both of those jobs and does them well.  In the hand it feels quite similar to my M1s but it's nice and flat just like my flattest M1.  Very comfortable for a flick and will fade every time if you don't roll your wrist.  Hooks up quickly when thrown on a backhand with a strong forward fade.  Faster than a Zone, stabler than a Buzzz OS or M1.  Perfect!

I had tried both the Pyro and Deflector and managed to find a blank Runway for a good price so I jumped on the opportunity to compare it to it's brothers from an Overmold mother. Stability wise it's right in the middle of the Pyro and Deflector, the hint of turn that I get from the Pyro is not present here, but it doesn't have the brutal hard fade that the Deflector does. The flat, tight top and angled outer rim make it a good forehand disc, and I even putted with it for one round when I was traveling and it actually did quite well, though I would not want to use it that way all the time.  If your looking for a great OS mid at a good price, this is a great way to go and the plastic is very durable, if a bit slick at first.

I give this disc a 5/5 stars despite the fact that I did not put it in my bag after playing a few rounds with it. I bag an MVP Deflector, but was looking for a midrange that was similar in stability, but would glide a little further. Compared the the MVP Deflector, the Runway will fade (more of a dump) after a little more time, but is largely similar to the Deflector. The Runway is perfect for short upshots, forehand flexes, and aggressive anhyzer flex shots. Thrown to the ground, the Runway will perform predictable skip shots that aren't as aggressive as the Deflector's. For me, the Runway is just too similar to the Deflector from MVP, and, as a result, I will continue to bag the Deflector over the Runway. To end this review I will offer my opinion on the grip: The grip and feel of the Runway is more comfortable than the Deflector for both backhand and forehand grips. If you're looking to purchase an overstable midrange such as the Deflector or the Runway, but don't know which to go for, then consider the Runway for the more comfortable grip.

I would give this disc more stars, but 5 is the limit! My first throw was a 75 + approach shot in the basket. Next hole, same result, back to back!!!  I throw almost exclusive righty flick style and this disc is my new prized weapon. I just know when I throw this where its gonna land - super predictable - and it just drop fades right where I need it.

This is my second Streamline disc, I fell in love with the Trace distance driver - which is like throwing a spear!! - to this par saver! If you need an consistent approach disc  100ft and in... Runway..all day!!

I picked up a Runway to compare it to the Deflector after I lost it in a river. The Runway has a big beveled bead, which was the first major difference I found between it and the Deflector. This bead gives the Runway more glide but I don't care for the bead feel in hand. It will go a good 50 feet farther than the Deflector on the same throw. It flies nice and straight with a significant dump at the end. Because it's not a beefy as the Deflector I find my self not reaching for it on as many utility shots since it just doesn't finish as hard and I tend to over throw it.

It does what the numbers says and it does a good job at it. It's very reliable though I have yet to throw it in a strong wind. This and the Pyro fly almost the exact same for me but I prefer the Pyro since it's bead isn't so big and it's prettier :).

It would probably be a decent utility mid for a beginner since it's glidey yet has a strong consistent fade.

My go-to mid. It has reliable fade that can be manipulated by the amount of force with which it is thrown. It's great for "grenades". I've got one that is beaten in - as much as this neutron can be beaten in - and one that is brand new. Both do what I need when I need. I can't imagine this disc coming out of my bag.

Flat top and the plastix feels excellent. Great grip and just the right amount of flex. Can handle some snap and torque with a straight flight ending with LS fade. My only complaint is it can't handle my flick shot the way the Icon Pursuit can, which is why I bag the Pursuit instead of the Runway.

I have been trying to solidify my overstable midrange. I've tried the drone, the zone, the buzzz os, the harp, the matrix, and this is by far my favorite. Holds a line for a super long times, tons of glide, and a reliable finish. This disc refuses to turn over. Plus the plastic is very grippy. This is quickly becoming my new favorite mid.

The Runway is, in my opinion, the perfect type of over-stable midrange. You can get a good amount of straight flight before the trusty fade kicks in. Not as OS as the Gator or Justice, but just as useful and a bit more workable on forced flex-shots. Holds up in wind and can be trusted for forehand and skips. The flight plate is flat and the rim has a rounded top giving a comfortable grip similar to a straight midrange. The lower part of the rim is at a steep, straight angle and approximates the feel/function of a bead. Overall, the disc has really impressed me and I believe it’s unique to the market

do you like overstable mids? do you not like beads on your overstable mids?  if the answer is yes to both of those questions, then you have found that reliable overstable mid!

I tried one of these out, and was amazed at the glide, yet still has a strong finish.  this had more of a 3 fade tha. 3.5 when I throw it.  resembles a slower resistor or old run opto spark (the flat topped ones).

it flies like a bard or a verdict (before the flippy runs) or almost like a rocx3 (not as dumpy of a fade).

you still need good form with flicks, it can flip over if you have O.A T.   will handle the power you can give it

this is yet another great addition to my bag, when there is wind or I need it to go left.

avg throw is around 270-310  with this mid. it has made me want to throw mids again!

I tried a Runway to see how it compared to other OS mids I have. I'll just start off by saying it's not quite as over stable as a Justice. The Deflector is probably a touch more OS, and the Anvil & Pursuit are pretty similar.

That being said, this is still an overstable meat hook. It turns right out of your hand. I do get a touch more distance than a Justice, so perhaps it has a little more glide. It feels smooth and clean in the hand, I really like the neutron plastic feel.

All in all it's a very consistant OS mid, so if you like that kind of thing, and you like streamline, give it a shot.

I have played about 5 or 6 rounds with this disc, and I love it.  While it is overstable, it is nowhere near the that of a Justice.  I would actually compare this disc to a Verdict.  Almost the same flight path, just slightly more overstable.  This is a great midrange and is earning a permanent spot in my bag, mostly for forehand shots.

Day 1 with the Runway and I would have to say its impressive. In hand it feels almost identical to the Roc3 (with the exception of the Roc3's bead). I've been throwing around the Gator3 a lot and I would say this disc flies almost identical... a tinniest bit less stable. You can definitely notice the glide over the Gator3 though. Most of my overstable mid-ranges are geared more towards my forehand flick shots and this addition does not disappoint.

Anyone looking for a nice flick shot mid-range, this would be a great option for you.

The Runway is a very dependable, beefy, overstable mid-range disc. It is coming out very close to the release of the MVP Deflector, which was the first seriously overstable mid-range from the MVP brand. So, it's nice to have an single-mold version, though the rim configuration is slightly different than the Deflector. I like both, since they equally fill the short, overstable spot in the bag.

Those who throw forehand will love the flat top and overstability, and the Runway will fight into a headwind as well. NOT recommended for beginners, unless you want them to give up on disc golf after their first three throws. That's simply not what this disc is made for.

The Streamline Runway has everything I like in a super overstable utility midrange. This disc has a low profile, super flat top, and comfortable rim. It is massively overstable, can handle insane amounts of power, and unless you throw it on at an extreme anhyzer angle, it will always fade back at the end of the flight. This disc is perfect for forehand and backhand hyzer shots that you just want to dump hard and bomb towards the ground.

How Overstable is the Streamline Runway?

While the Runway is super overstable, I would say that it is not quite as OS as the MVP Deflector, Dynamic Discs Justice, or Westside Anvil. With a flat throw, I can get more distance out of the Runway than the other mentioned discs. I would say that the Runway it is more overstable than anything Innova makes, including the Gator, Mortar and Caiman. The Runway is very similar to the new Legacy Pursuit and the Viking Discs Loki.

In my opinion, everyone needs to bag a super overstable midrange. If you are an MVP/Streamline fan, this disc will satisfy the super OS slot adequately. If you're considering the Runway, it's advantage over the other similar mids is that it's less expensive. Overall, the Runway is a great disc and an Excellent addition to the Streamline lineup.
