This disc is just as it was advertised, a slightly more stable version of the Glitch. Its still light, and therefore easier to turn over than normal weighted putters, but if given the smooth throwing treatment it requires, it can make for some fantastic floaty straight throws with just the slightest fade to finish its flight. I doubt I'll use this disc much for my actual game, its too deep for my preferred hand feel, but it really is a great catch disc. My son and I have spent a good amount of time chucking it back and forth, sometimes spreading out as far 200 feet. Even at that distance I can still range and throw the disc very accurately. Its a fun disc, easy to catch, and a good teacher of smooth form throws.

Compared with other putters I have with a Turn/Fade rating of 0/0 to 0/1, the Parachute is clearly less stable; not so much that it ends up like my -3 Turn putters, but it's getting there. When throwing for more distance rather than simply putting, it needs a good bit of hyzer to keep from turning over and into the ground, though beginners may not have that problem. The soft, flexible grade of plastic maybe accentuates this as I think it's easier to torque the disc on release. The plastic has a good feel and grip, though, and looks really good (especially with the mulit-color tournament stamp). For regular putting purposes it should be great for anyone.

I'm a former ultimate frisbee player who loves his 1 speeds and catch discs. In my collection, I have a halo polecat, eclipse alien glitch, eclipse pitch , and now the parachute. All of these are awesome for beginners/people coming in from ultimate.

The parachute itself is wonderful. It's the perfect stable catch disc from mvp/axiom/streamline. Now I can do a catch disc round with pitch as the understable, glitch as the neutral, and the parachute as the more stable one.
