The Wall Cloud is a unique midrange disc featuring a "double bead" on the bottom of the disc. It's an overstable midrange, that will hold straight for a while before reliably fading out at the end of the flight.

Relatively new player, not a huge distance thrower. Ordered a Wall Cloud because both my previous Storm discs had been wonderful and I wanted to check out this double bead just because it sounded like a weird feature.

Thrown at softer speeds, it dumps hard at the end of its flight. With greater speed, the fade is more gradual and doesn't seem quite as pronounced. Throwing in wind doesn't seem to be a problem either. I tried a few tosses using the rim as an index finger track, but that just buggered up my release.

Visually, and at first feel, the double bead is highly unusual...so without much physics knowledge, I'm not entirely sure why that feature is part of the design. However, this thing flies pretty much as advertised and shows almost zero wear after regular use for a half dozen rounds - which has included some heavy tree hits. That durability has me planning to use it through a long winter in Canada.

This is a weird one for sure. If you just picked it up in the store, you might run screaming for the hills, cause that double bead looks and feels a little strange at first. But don't let it push you away from this great disc! The flight is different than any other overstable midrange I've personally thrown (MD4, VRoc, Verdict). Instead of gently fading to the left (RHBH) as the disc loses speed, the Wall Cloud goes really straight for most of its flight, then dumps off to the left when it finally loses speed.

I throw it with a fan grip most of the time, but the double bead isn't really uncomfortable on a power grip either. I also love it on forehands. Great pickup from a great company.

Another fantastic mid range from the Storm line up!

The question is, do you like beads? If so this might be the mid for you.

This is going to fill that Buzzz OS, MD4, Verdict stability slot in your bag. Being available in the durable Category 3 plastic, it's going to survive those tree hits and hold its stability for a long time! Also here in the baseline Category 1 plastic for those softer overstable approaches, with minimal ground movement.

Don't be scared off by the double bead it has a comfortable feel in the hand and holds up to the torque resistance of other discs in this class.
