The Lucky 13 is arguably one of the most understable drivers on the market. Upon release the disc turns sharply in an anhyzer angle, sails far with that flight angle, and then gradually fades back to the ground. With some fine tuning, this is a great choice for practiced disc golfers who want some easy distance. For players with a strong snap, this disc will likely be too understable.

Picked one of these up out of curiosity on the plastic, threw it a few times, but never took it on a course.  A year later I started throwing different discs as my form has changed, so I pulled out the L13 and gave it another try.  I wouldn't call it the MOST understable driver- there are many more understable than this, but I can see a strong arm could definitely have issues with the L13.  I'm more of an old school flex driver, and for me the disc is now performing exactly like the flight chart.  Disc feel is all about personal preference- I like a grippy plastic and not too deep of a rim.  The L13 is extremely consistent for me, and has been surprisingly effective in winds below 15-20 mph as long as I keep the nose down- impressive for this stability.  It performs much like my DX Wraith, or Destroyers, but a little more wind resistant, and much less ground action- perhaps due to the plastic and slightly less fade.  All RHBH throws so far, but I picked up a couple more to keep on hand as this has become a staple in the bag lately.  Looking forward to some cold weather conditions to see how the plastic holds up, but everything I've read looks positive.  For me, a unique and fun disc to have in the bag.

This is probably one of my favorite discs to throw for distance on open enough holes with decent fairways. It will flip over whenever you need it to throw a roller and has a pretty high speed to get somewhere before turning over completely. I have been disc golfing seriously for a year or two now, and this is the best roller disc I've come across simplicity-wise because of its predictable turn. Overall, if you are beginning to explore rollers and vying for that extra distance, this disc is a great place to start.

I purchased the L13 and Medusa in the sommer, liked the look of the disc and wanted I wanted to try something compeltely different.

When I got them they where very tacky and super flexable. I didn't care for them to much and quickly gave up on them both.

Come winter in the Northeastern PA and it's cold, wet and windy. After having some of my favorite drivers constantly slipping out of my hand I figured I would give the L13 another look. Damn was I impressed. This is a completely different disc in the winter.

I was driving 350'-400', fighting cross winds and landing pretty much where I was looking to land. The grip was fanstatic in the cold, not a single slip. Nice skip on the landing. Think I just found a solid cold weather driver for myself.

I'll have to field test it a little more, but I think this will be staying in my bag for the next couple of months.

The L13 turns and burns too much for me. Sometimes I can get it to go for killer distance with hyzer flip shots, and it makes a great roller, but this disc isn't consistent enough for me to keep in my bag. If you throw the L13 completely vertical on forehand throws, it sometimes levels out and glides the distance. This might be a good disc for a weak armed beginner, but for anyone else, it's probably too understable.
