Wings by Any Other Name

The Salient Vaccine is, in fact, the Yikun Wings. The biggest difference is that the Vaccine is molded up in Salient's excellent plastic blends. I prefer it in Liquid Metal (which is available here on Infinite Discs!) as it provides outstanding grip, durability, looks and added stability. When molded up in Liquid Metal, the Vaccine has a bit of a "pop top" on it. In Karbon, the Vaccine is much flatter, closer to the Wings in Tigers Line plastic.

I bag the Vaccine as my "tweener" mid, when a putter isn't long enough but I don't want to back off the power on my Rocs. Thrown flat, the Vaccine has a nice, straight flight with a healthy fade at the end without being too dumpy. It holds hyzer lines superbly and is great for short-range sidearm throws. With power and the right angle of release, the Vaccine can hold long, glidey anhyzers, though I rarely use it for that. I do like using this for short flex shots.

I would compare the flight of the Vaccine to the Dynamic Discs Suspect, which is actually what I took out of the bag in favor of the Vaccine, as I prefer the Liquid Metal plastic to just about anything out there these days. I would reccomend this disc for experienced players who can utilize a tweener disc properly.
