This is an excellent utility putt & approach disc. With a strong throw the Tui will hold a turnover and won’t fade back.

This has quickly become my primary putter after shopping around and trying a bunch of different plastics, companies, flight profiles, etc. However, that is with the caveat that I'm looking for a very specific set of characteristics and I don't think this is the most versatile disc. For one, the magma hard seems to fly incredibly understable. I actually tend to treat this like an Ultimate disc, which is actually great since I came to disc golf from ultimate. You can thread some long, gliding anhyzer flicks and backhands with this, but I would caution against putting too much power on a shot. I suspect this COULD hold a decent hyzer flip but for me it's just way too understable to take a full throw. Having said that, I absolutely love putting with this disc. I can confidently jump putt with this and not worry about it fading out at the end of the flight. I can also jump putt directly at the basket from circle 2 and not have to account for much hyzer. The understability makes it great for my specific putting style (hyzer release hybrid putt). I also love the feel of this disc; it seems to have a thinner rim width and shorter depth than most other putters which lets me feel like I have a greater degree of control over the flight plate. Overall, it's a putter that I enjoy greatly as a primary putter but actually have a hard time recommending due to its very particular characteristics. If you're looking for a consistent approach disc, I'd personally recommend something with more stability. But if you want an understable point-and-click style putter with a fair amount of glide for longer putts and a shallower profile, the Tui might be a good choice.

I love the way this disc feels in the hand. I have a magma hard Tui and I am really enjoying trying it out. The hard is very stiff and on cold or cooler days it can get kind of slippery in the chains and might not catch as well as a soft, which I have a Kea in magma soft that earned a spot in my bag. In warmer weather it feels great in the hand and has no problem grabbing chains and sitting In the basket.
I typically use a Maiden to putt with (3-4-0-1) but when I'm missing left (RHBH) I switch to the Tui and it seems to help and I start hitting my spot. This being said it might be more a mental correction it is helping with. But I'm going to work with it more and see if it can earn a permanent spot. The Magma soft Kea I have instantly made my bad and I just ordered a Kea in the atomic plastic. Can't wait for it to come in.
