From the very beginning the MD Discmania had a very clear cut mission - to fill their straight to understable midrange slot and have the ultimate control midrange. The MD certainly fits the bill for both of those goals. By “ultimate control” they want the thrower to be able to control this disc to do any and every type of flight fresh off the shelf. Take a deep breath, close your eyes, and then imagine all of the different shots you can accomplish with this midrange driver. The feel of this disc is great as well. It has a slight dome and a convex lower wing. It feels like it belongs in your hand and it's ready to tackle all of your midrange duties.

The Origin is a small diameter midrange with big potential. The nose has a smooth, rounded feel with a flat microbead on the bottom. The Origin is understable when thrown at high speeds, making it the perfect disc for long turnover shots, as well as precise gentle lines through the woods.

It thrives in tailwinds, wooded courses, and calm conditions at any course. This is the perfect complementary disc to the Essence.

The legendary MD3 by Discmania is a workhorse mid-range disc that has become an icon in the Discmania lineup. Loved by beginners and pros alike, the MD3 offers reliability, control, and versatility. With a balanced flight and predictable fade, this disc delivers precise shots and confident finishes. Its durable plastic ensures consistent performance, making it a must-have for disc golfers at any skill level.

Note: The Innova made MD3 and Discmania made MD3 feel and fly nearly identical. Some of the flight numbers on the Innova made MD3 are 5 5 0 3 or 5 5 0 2, but even those runs don't fly significantly different than the newer Swedish made ones. The Discmania Method is the second release in the Discmania Evolution line manufactured by Latitude 64, and the first midrange disc.

The Method is a workhorse, beaded, overstable midrange disc. Coming in at 5, 5, 0, 3, the Method will hold up to your power and finish with reliable fade. With it's high glide, it'll carry itself down the fairway with any flex shots before coming out in the end.

After getting his hands on it, Simon Lizotte simply stated, “This is the best midrange I’ve tried.”

Lower your score with the MD4! This disc is the overstable brother of the MD3. The MD4 has a blunt nose with that standard MD3 micro-bead, giving it a familiar feel in the hand. Not only is the MD4 overstable, but it also has a surprising amount of glide, allowing your shots to fade more while still maintaining predictability. Whether you're facing a stiff wind, looking for a controlled hyzer line, or throwing a nice touch sidearm, the MD4 has you covered. We find this disc to be much more versatile than most other overstable mid-ranges on the market due to the mix of stability and glide. Don't wait, grab yourself an MD4 and lower your score!

The Discmania Mutant is an extremely overstable midrange. It features low glide and a hard fade, providing consistency in most windy conditions. This is a utility disc that can help you get out of those sketchy situations and back on track. The Mutant was designed from a thought experiment to see if you could make a disc with only straight lines. The result is a unique disc that is known as the "Cybertruck of midranges."

    MD5

The MD5 is overstable. No wind or shaky release will change that. If you are looking for a dependable, no questions asked, goes where you tell it to go midrange with an awesome feel, look no further.

NOTE: The Innova made and Discmania made MD5's are VASTLY different in hand feel. The Innova made ones felt similar to a Gator, with a large, chunky rim and a bead. The Discmania made ones feel much more like a modern midrange. The shape of the rim is comparable to a 5 speed Zone. Please specify which one you are talking about in the reviews.

    For reference, the specifications for the Innova-made MD5 are D: 21.1; H: 1.9; W: 1.4; D: 1.3.
