The Raging Inferno has the dimple technology from golf balls along the rim. These dimples are designed to help provide the disc with extra glide and maintain its stability, providing a flight that goes fairly straight with a little bit of turn and glide before it'll fade back.

This plastic is HARD!  Maybe someone with a big arm can get this thing to fly.  But I can't.  It's a meat hook for me.  150ft straight left into the ground.  Don't recommend for beginners.

The first three times I threw this discs I threw it into the ground about 40 ft out. I put it in the truck. The next time out, I started to experiment with different release points, and, low and behold, if I released the disc on a slight hyzer it flew really well. But, if I threw it on any kind of flat or anhyzer release, then it would either sky up and die quickly, or hit the ground real close to the tee box. Now, as long as I remember how to control my release I can get a 270 to 300 ft drive from his disc. That is amazing for my noodle arm. Needless to say, this discs has become a staple in my bag and it comes out when I need a long straight drive down a narrow corridor.

So I got this disc as a joke...and I ended up liking it...

    I usually throw this RHBH.

This disc is very unique with its dimples. At a heavier weight, it fights wind and goes dead straight. At a lighter weight, it can have a nice high-speed turn and finish back straight/left. If you get a good rip, you can B O M B with this thing. I usually drive anywhere between 350-400' and this disc easily puts 50' on my drives. It flies kind of like my Innova Corvette but with more turn.

The caveat, however, is that if it is nose up it will not turn and dump hard left. It is best thrown flat and low-moderately high angle. I believe this to be because the plastic makes this disc very stiff and doesn't play well in the wind nose up. It is designed to be aerodynamically superior with the dimples, which act the same way as a golf ball does. The dimples do not allow the flow of air over the disc to have large boundary layer separation which minimizes in-flight drag, (sorry if that was too much, I'm an engineer :D )

Like I said, the disc is very stiff. The plastic isn't post-processed very well and can have some sharp edges. It looks like the wing was 3D printed and you can see some imperfections in the dimples. That said, it can be gripped for forehand and backhand.

I like the flight of this disc. I wish it was in a better plastic, that's the only problem I have with it. I will continue to whip this out of my bag, get a laugh, and drop jaws when I crush my drives. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone with low arm speed because you won't see that high-speed turn.

Throwing Quest AT Basic plastic and weighing 175g at 4,400 ft in Utah. To me, 5 stars = incredible disc 4 stars = good & dependable disc. I don't give out too many 5 star ratings.

This disc surprised me nicely. The in hand feel is a little smaller than a typical 12 speed disc, for me, this makes the grip fairly comfortable. The dimples along the edge don't really deter me in any way. They don't bother me while holding the disc. I'm not a huge fan with how the plastic feels. It is quite stiff and odd feeling. Not entirely sure how to describe the feel of it.

The Raging Inferno is quite easy to throw as well. Throwing it with a tail wind I was able to see a nice "S" curve flight path. Throwing it into the headwind, I could tell this was a stable disc as it quickly turned over. I was surprised by the distance I was able to get with this disc. Not throwing the disc full power I was reaching around 300-350', which is a typical throw for me. Overall, the way the disc flies is good, I am a little tempted to put it into my bag and play with it seriously for a while.

I enjoyed throwing this disc, it is a good find.
