The Crossfire is a basic putter design with a somewhat rounded outer rim and a bead. It also works as an all-purpose disc for very young players, since they often come in very lightweight plastic. When in those light weights, it could almost double as a toy for children who want to feel like they're involved in the game as their parents hit the disc golf course.

I find this disc is mainly my disc which I wouldn't mind handing over to a new comer to the sport. Many who come from ultimate say that this is the disc which best reminds them of an ultimate frisbee. Don't use it much but find that if I am in a situation which has lots of trees, I can throw wit with less speed and it can get me where I want it to go.

My to-go for shots in the 20-30 meter range.  Very consistent, very controllable.  If you are good with a standard frisbee, this one behaves similarly, but better.

I'd recommend this disk for almost anyone's bag. Although not touted in the description, it floats on water, so you can boldly go for certain shots that you would otherwise play 'overly safe'. The Glide rating of 8 is not an exaggeration, and I'm rating the fade at a mere 0.5 - this disc really holds a line.

It is a steal at the price; I've ordered a couple of extra so I can pass them to kids you meet at the park ("Daddy, look, can I do that?"). The geometry is close to a classic 'throwing disc', so indeed it can double as a 'toy'. But unlike those toy dog discs, this flies like a dream!
