This starter set is pretty great! The discs that come with it are pretty solid for beginners. The driver and putter are probably the best of the four discs. The plastic is pretty typical to a base plastic. The bag that comes with this set is pretty dope. I don't use it anymore, but it was a fun thing to have in the beginning.

I really enjoyed the Zion Driver. Its rim is fairly comfortable for my hands. Throwing this is pretty easy to do. I have found very successful drives by throwing hyzer flips, or throwing it flat I'll end pretty far right. The hyzer flip throws tend to be fairly straight for me with a little curve to the right and a good fade back to left. Throwing the disc flat results in hardly any fade for me (all RHBH).

The Helios is quite understable, easy to throw and fun to play with. As an intermediate player this is more of a roller than a driver. It is super flippy. Throwing this disc nice and easy results in some pretty good distance (considering how hard I throw it), I would get around 200 feet. Granted to get this distance I would have to throw it on a steep hyzer-flip angle. I'd imagine that this disc would work phenomenally for a beginner.

For me the Griffon was a very easy disc to throw. Pretty easy to shape the shots as well. I could get this disc to do most lines that I had desired. Despite not giving this disc full power, I was able to get some pretty good distance out of it. It proves to be a reliable midrange.

The Bennu putter is pretty awesome. I really enjoyed putting with it as well as driving with it. This is a real easy putter to throw around. It is dependable enough to fly pretty straight within the circle. Outside the circle it loses the straightness. This will hold the anhyzer angle if you release incorrectly while putting. Driving with it, it'll fly straight, can do hyzerflips, and can hold some pretty shallow anhyzer lines.

Overall a great set to start off with. I'd definitely recommend this to any beginner, as they're good discs and you get a bag to start off.

If you are looking for a disc golf set that includes a bag at an affordable price, then the X-com set is a fantastic choice.

All four discs in this set are excellent for beginners. This set includes the same three discs as in the 3 disc set, plus the Helios driver which provides a more overstable distance driver giving you a variety of different shots. Unlike the other discs in this set that are relatively straight, the Helios will fade at the end of the flight for newer players. This extra stability is excellent for forehand throws and shots where you need the disc to change directions at the end of the flight.

While this is the least expensive disc golf set that includes a bag, the disc golf bag included in it is a little bit strange. It's more of a fanny pack style bag than the traditional disc golf bag with a single shoulder strap or traditional backpack bag.

If you're not picky about what the bag is like you are going ot use to carry your 4 discs, and are looking for a complete set that will cover an array of different golf shots on the course, this is a fantastic set, especially for the ultra low price.
