was expecting more flavor and depth for the price the heat is obvious but I don't like the sweetness the jerky has at first its almost like a teriyaki flavor then its sweet and very hot too much red pepper flakes for my liking as well I scrape them off so they don't stick in my teeth overall bottom of the line for Garretts jerky 

There are couple different types of peppers in this jerky. I found it very enjoyable, hot but manageable.

I love beef jerky and enjoy it on a regular basis.  The Double G Boom Sauce is good jerky - I did not find the texture off like the other reviewer.  I think that it is reasonable priced when compared to other craft jerky.  The BOOM sauce tastes great, but it does bring the heat.  I'm a bit of a pepper head and have munched my share of superhots, but I still found this to be pretty spicy.  I'm glad I opted to enjoy this at home rather than out on the course, as I think that much heat would be a distraction while playing.  I plan on ordering again when I place another order for discs.  

Expensive jerky that was over seasoned and had an unpleasant texture, the card I was with couldn't finish one piece between the 4 of us. I'm all for supporting touring pros but this isn't it.
